Copy of SNSD’s Killer Schedule – Only a Matter of Time Before Another Member Collapses

Recently, a written copy of the Girls’ Generation’s (SNSD) upcoming schedule has been posted on various online communities, leaving fans concerned about the girls’ health.

The schedule lists the girls’ activities from June 8th to July 24th, and it is jammed packed. Just yesterday, we reported that Girls’ Generation headed to Paris for two concerts in Paris as part of the "SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR in PARIS." Once they complete their European performances, the girls will head back to Japan for their Japan Arena Tour. Despite having three days till their Parisian concert, the girls have two more activities scheduled – a MJ Presents Girls’ Generation Special on June 8th and a Samsung Anniversary Party in Taiwan on June 9th – leaving no time for the girls to reenergize.


Once they return to Japan, they also have a NHK “Music Japan” appearance scheduled on June 12th and will continue with their Japanese tour on the 17th. Instead of celebrating her 21st birthday with friends, Girls’ Generation’s youngest member Seo Hyun will spend her birthday performing in Tokyo.

Additionally, the posted schedule only gives an overall feel of their timetable and does not even state Girls’ Generation’s other unofficial or yet-to-be-scheduled activities. Just a couple of days ago, Sunny collapsed from exhaustion mid-concert in Saitama, and Soo Young reportedly has a high fever as well. After seeing their killer schedules, netizens exclaimed, “Only SNSD can pull off this,” “It’s only a matter of time until another member collapses from exhaustion,” and “This is just crazy. They need to rest.”

Oh god poor girls this schedule is crazy. I know they probably think that this is temporary but it can really cause them long term health issues.

My heart is breaking for them. I hate even just doing simple assignments with a fever, and that's sitting in front of a computer and some books, so I can't imagine the pain of running around and shouting and singing and dancing and strenuous rehearsals and having to look happy for hours while running a fever at the same time. I don't know why this was made into some extremely horrible news in a "leaked document" style... all these schedules are up on soshified for everyone to see.

This is a ridiculous point to pick on though, SNSD have always celebrated their birthdays with fan-parties and during concerts 90% of the time anyway. Sunny didn't faint either, she walked off the stage properly lmao.

the first week of the concert tour was really hard for them but it'll get easier after that and if you look at the dates they always have like 4-5 free days between every venue.

I do hope they sue their agency when they get a day off in freakin' AUGUST. A quick google search taught me that constant fatigue/stress can lower immunity, cause depression and/or anxiety disorders, and studies have shown it to make you more likely to die prematurely. They've got a very strong case, the way I see it. I'd sue and change agencies. How awesome would it be to have SNSD free of SME? With the money from the lawsuit they could prob. support themselves and make real, original music[/unrealistic fantasy].

Love the girls, hate asian entertainment agencies in general.

jfc, that's a lot of stuff. my fav band did 96 concerts in 2009, but I know they got to rest from one concert to another. the problem with SNSD (and most kpop artists, I assume) is that they usually have a lot of rehearsals in between appearances D8 I wonder how many hours of sleep a day the girls are getting ~_~

I'm not even a big fan of SNSD, but I think the comments implying that it's not that bad are disgusting. These are people's health on the line. Yes, they might get used to it, but they shouldn't have to in the first place. I understand that this is part of the job, but these are girls pretty much killing themselves in order to entertain their fans. Have some respect.

Not that I blame OP for this (the note on bottom says pretty much what I'm going to say), but I know tons of people that are going to be, "That not the much. I don't see why their getting sick." Really to factor in the photo shots, commercial recordings, recording in general, fan meets, tv shows (other than just performances), rehearsals, etc, this is just the start of it.

Hopefully their getting some sleep in Paris.

idk, i have seen western artists that have schedules like this for 6 months at a time. You can assume they have undocumented schedules but they might not have any other schedules. Yes, it will be stressful and tiring but that is what happens on tour. People complained before that SM was half assing their promotions in Japan, now that they are doing full promotions people complain that SM are trying to kill them.
