I genuinely think her talent in dancing surpasses Kahi's but a lot of it is still untapped.
Pledis introduced her kinda crappy though. She gets one line in Shampoo and it's the 2nd line of the whole song. ohwell, at least she didn't have to share a line with someone else like Lizzy had to.
such a shame she got tossed into AS. plus with her looks she's never going to get noticed in an idol group, she's not classically pretty and the way they do her hair does her no favours. Still stanning her tho.
I don't think everyone's dissing her by asking why she's in After School. I think they're all fans of her, but saying her amazing talents could be utilised somewhere much better than your conventional idol group.
she might not in after school but later she will. it's hard to make it by yourself and as an idol she gains popularity. after she graduates she'll have at least a small fanbase and be able to do what she loves more freely.
i hope she becomes more popular in japan too when they debut! she'll be even more of an amazing performer once she graduates. i think being an idol not only gives her a fanbase/gains her popularity, but it helps her confidence and etc.. to some degree.
Firstly, everyone asking why she's in After School, or the idol industry in general - if you want to be a successful MUSICIAN (NOT idol/singer), Korea's music industry is not really the place for it (at least, for now), so by entering the idol industry, you'd still be involved in music in some form, but you may also get noticed and get a 'foot-in-the-door' , and may be able to become a successful musician later because people will already know who you are.
Also, I think E-Young is lovely. I haven't seen much more than promo pictures and performances, but I think she's quite pretty and is very talented. I am withholding my judgment on her singing ability, because I believe that the single line in Shampoo isn't enough to really show whether she is capable or not. Also, she can and may improve if necessary.
i agree. i think the only person who's been able to explore their talents as a musician been gd in big bang. becoming an idol is the closest you get to in genuinely working with music
