im sure other fandoms go through this too, but because im not in them, i dont know how often it happens.
with YG groups, i feel like it happens so much because each member is so different from the other. you are unlikely to find qualities that you like about your bias in another member. also, the frequent solo music projects tend to separate fans even further.
with other boy/girl groups, everyone just blends in. so, technically, if you stan one member, you're most likely going to stan the member next to them because they're so similar.

but with 2ne1, you can actually tell when they're lipsyncing (like in the Lonely MV), because they're not very good at it. i highly doubt that they did here.
having said that, i wasn't expecting their live sessions to be like this. i'd much rather hear them perform the way Bom did with You & I in the first episode i.e. unplugged/acoustic. these live sessions hv been sounding way too refined. they're perfect to go on my mp3 player, but definitely not what i expect when i think "live session". i don't want to hear any MR, and i actually want to hear sound imperfections.
