JPOP singer Crystal Kay interested in test-driving KPOP market, Bakanishi replaces BoA on Skype

Crystal Kay recently answered some fan questions on her blog and thereby revealed that she'll think about a Korean debut.

Yesterday, April 29th, Crystal held a short Q&A session on her official blog. Since her mother's Korean, two of the questions that came up were whether she speaks Korean and if she's thinking about a Korean debut.

Crystal's answer:
"I can speak just a teeny bit of Korean (lol). My reading and writing are perfect, but learning vocabulary is sooo hard! It’s no good that I don’t do listening or speaking. I’ll think about a Korean debut! I’d like to be able to sing in Korean."

perhaps an unfamiliar name to some, but crystal kay is a vocal POWERHOUSE. beautiful voice, stunning young lady. she's done collaborations with big names like m-flo and akanishi jin, among others. i also believe DBSK's choreographer was caught in her "FLASH" MV. :x if anyone is interested in finding more about crystal, here's a good overview.

sorry this is a little late eheh ); i LOVE crystal, but not sure how to feel about this. really curious as to how the korean audience will react if she decides to give it a shot tho.

tbh i think she can out-swag vast majority of the kpop world. and i would love to hear her sing in korean. but i am afraid, what if they give her very gimmick-y music to work with? ):

n there's like an endless amount of people she could do collabs with as far as k-hiphop/urban craps, and if it was the idol route she could do something qt with boa or tower over taeyang for a 3-min duet or w / e simply idc she could do anything and i would queef-saeyo

I love her, and I will support her decision. Though I got a bad feeling about it. How many people in Korea will buy physical CD anyway? Not as much as Japan. I doubt it's that South Koreans dislike black people, any ignorance they may show is born from the fact S.Korea is Homogeneous, with very little different ethnic diversity (a few Chinese people being the different ethnic group).
So apart from the people they see on television they have very little interaction with different races.
I am not familiar with the Japanese music industry but I understand S.Koreans appreciate R&B/Pop and Crystal Kay does that well.
IDK, I guess we'll see how it all goes down...
