I find it funny that there's a special commission to protect underage idols, but it's okay for a 16 year old to be in the cover of an adult magazine >_<
It really confuses me how it's allowed for 16 and 17 years old girls to be on the covers of magazine such as Maxim? Where are the parents now?Where are the netizens? How is this allowed and they're banning some 'provocative' dance moves,and this is ok?0.o
Does Maxim not have the same reputation in Korea? Although these covers are pretty tame, it's still a bit awkward to attach underagers to such a well known adult magazine.

These covers look very tame to me. Yeah two of them are 16-17 but let's be honest here... this is show business, the life of a female idol, you're going to be objectified by the male sex whether you like it or not and society has been into the "young" "fresh" teen idols for a few decades now so is this really that surprising? Britney Spears was 16-17 when she debuted.
I think what is bothering most people is that this is a magazine for men which has a reputation (at least in the states) of being provocative. The idea of men viewing them as women or sexual bothers some people I get that, but I can almost guarantee that men are already doing that whether they appeared in this magazine or not because they are in the idol business. That doesn't mean I think it's ok for every 16 year old to just start appearing on the cover of Maxim, but if you are a female in this business I think the rules are bent for you no matter how twisted that may be. I think these pictures are no more sexy than what they already perform in so I am fine with it.
