Sunye hints at a Wonder Girls comeback in Korea later this year

Wonder Girls leader Sunye announced that the group will carry out promotions in Korea later this year.

On April 6th, Sunye appeared on SBS Power FM’s ‘Kim Hee Chul’s Young Street‘, and hinted at a Wonder Girls comeback in Korea.

When asked about the Wonder Girls’ activities by a listener, she stated, “Although we are not promoting in Korea right now, I’m very proud that K-Pop is being spread [around the world]. So I have a greater desire to promote our group in Korea as well as to see our fans who’ve waited for a long time. I think there will be some good news later this year.”

She added, “For our fans who have waited for us, we’ll be sure to see you all soon with good music before the year ends. Please cheer us on.”

Sunye also gave a quick status report on her members. “All the members are well except for Sohee, who is a little sick due to a cold.”

I think 2DT was funky and super enjoyable, but in terms of being strong enough to be a title track, not so sure.

her and heechul are so fun together. they really have become good friends. The only thing I truly cared about was the SunHae (sunye/donghae) moments. their one of my OTPs that I ship. HArd.

...I'm not going to get my hopes up for it but I would love for this to actually happen. It seems odd though - when are they going to promote a new K-album if they actually do manage to release their English album this year? I'm sure they want that one to be released first.

That being said, it's nice seeing a Wonder Girl back in Korea. And Donghae must be very happy to have become well acquainted with Sunye. They seem like they would compliment each other well.
