Rino Nakasone to do SNSD's choreo

SNSD has enlisted the help of Beat Freaks member Rino Nakasone of MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew and Gwen Stefani’s back dancer from the “Harajuku era” to spice up their dance choreography for their next album. Hopefully, the cutsey finger pointing dance moves will make way for more booty shaking. But with little booty to shake, it will be interesting to see what happens.

It's decent dancing at least. Perhaps one of the better ones (girl groups) in the kpop world. It's not to say that they CAN'T dance. They can, and do so decently. It's really the songs that have fucked them up. WonderGirls haven't even shown calibre like that yet (not that I know off). Kara may have been fierce then, but def not now.

i would venture to say that After School has better dancers than SNSD, especially Gahee.

I would like to see Hyoyeon pop and lock and do her own thing against Gahee. Really, I'd love to know who's a better dancer. Hyoyeon can do what Rino can because that's her style.

I'd say Hyoyeon is almost as good as BoA and by that I mean, she's just ok. (I've always thought BoA was overrated by her dancing --> even tho I've been her fan since her debut :P NOHATER lol Both are nothing special. Gahee is much better IMO. Hyo is just labelled as OMG SHES SUCH AN AWESOME DANCERRR!@!@!11ONEE!! because all the girls an SNSD are mediocre at it. All their dancing is simply cutesy.

I guess down to it, it's just a matter of style. There are things Gahee can't do that Hyoyeon can, but when you think about it, Hyoyeon can very much do what Gahee can. (You've seen Hyoyeon's dancing clips? Even pre-debut?).

Hyoyeon holds back a lot, though and I'm sad to know that a group like SNSD holds back her dancing skills. I'm not saying that she's better than Gahee though, because Gahee sure can dance but their styles are different.

Hyoyeon has also studied every style of dancing out there, even Salsa and Tap dancing.

I can see SNSD pulling a chor from Rino's than any other group, really. In the end, I guess we'll just have to wait and see what they can do.

yeah ive watched her vids :P im not the type like some haters who judge without watching~ but yeah i still think that she's just ok, better than the rest of SNSD obviously, not amazing -->at BoA's level. with Hyoyeon sometimes her moves are like "urks dont do that" and then i see the times when she actually looks really skilled, better than BoA who can't pop and lock as well as she lol. its pretty entertaining but not like WOW. but i guess i'm more critical than others because i've been really big on dancing and i look at all the details/difficulty etc.

anyway i don't completely agree on your point of Gahee and her having different styles. can you name the difference? :/ maybe you mean how Hyoyeon shows off more of the popping? Guess so. Gahee has more experience so that's why she's more smooth and 'out-there' with her dancing, she doesn't go overboard.

Overall I'm saying shes pretty good, and she can do rino's moves - they arent that hard xD I dont see how she holds back alot, tho modesty is good to have to want others to expect more you know what i mean? it is very noticable that she has studied various dance styles, so good for her. :) Its all about preference.

Rino is basically the choreographer for all of SHINee's dances. She did Love like Oxygen. Watch the dance moves, they are her style and in some of her practice vids on YouTube you see her doing the some of the same moves. I think she did AMIGO too. Usually artists stick to one or a few choreographers during their time. Unless they have as special guest choreographer. It's good to have a change though, especially after a while. But it's not like I'll ever completely get sick of Rino, shes awesome. :D
