After earlier tweets relating natural disaster and death to some feng shui stuff, 2PM's Nichkhun has since deleted his tweets and instead tweeted: "I didn't mean to hurt people's feelings. I just wanted people to think positively. For that I'm sorry."



Netizens have also chimed in on the subject, most sending their warm regards and forgiving tweets in return.

it's good that he apologize quick..fast damage control..
but i do hope he changed his mindset about earthquakes..
it's not as simple as rearranging your bedroom..earthquakes caused so much damage to people involved in it..

As long as he understands what he said was wrong and apologized for it then I can forgive him. I'm not going to hound him about it or store this incident in my "This is why I hate you file" in my brain. I don't think I even use stuff like that since I find it a waste of time and energy to hate people, that's just me. I'm not trying to defend what he said bc that's inexcusable, I am just saying that since he seems to have learned from his mistake I think it's alright to forgive him for it.

I know some of you might say I am a "braindead" fan or one of those "oppa didn't mean it" fans but that is not the case. I am person that will forgive an individual when they have activity shown that they have learned from their mistakes. I know what I am saying is weird since this is the internet and it is ruthless but that's how I am irl so I am not going to change the way I act just bc I'm online. js

I'm with you. It's not like he had any ill meaning behind his words. He just used a bad analogy. I'm sure all the people that went through the earthquake have 100000+ other things to be worried about than a random idol making bad, but well intended analogies.
