Yesterday, we reported that the Wonder Girls will be performing in Beijing for the China Mobile Concert. Earlier today, Wonder Girls’ Lim revealed photos of her group preparing for their next album.

On March 24th, Lim tweeted,

"Group photo from during today’s session recording and us practicing our new song."

Currently, the Wonder Girls are in the process of preparing for their comeback. On March 23rd, a JYP Entertainment representative stated, "They are busy recording their album with global songwriters. Their comeback schedule will be adjusted after they finish their album production in the US."



In the photos, the members seen wearing comfortable clothing as they dedicate themselves to recording and studying their music sheets.

Fans who saw the photos commented, "I’m already curious about the song" and "I will anticipate what you will show us this time."

Are sunglasses the must-have item for 2AM’s Jo Kwon and Wonder Girls?

Jo Kwon recently updated his Twitter saying,

"Wonder Girls & Kwon. When we went to Thailand~ It was fun when we played games together keke"

In the photos, Wonder Girls’ Sunye, Yeeun and Sohee are posing for a few selcas with Jo Kwon, all wearing black sunglasses. In one photo, Sunye and Yeeun are found standing besides Jo Kwon with a friendly pose. In the other photo, Sohee and Kwon are giving off chic expressions.



Fans commented, "Looks like sunglasses are a must-have item" "Wonder Girls have nothing to be ashamed of, even besides the small-faced Jo Kwon" and "I wish to see all of them on a stage in Korea."

Like at this point idek anymore. WG having to perform the same songs over and over is just not fair to them or the fans. With WG being responsible for the revival of the label, you'd think JYPE would prioritize new material for them but nooo...

I think 2PM is responsible for the revival of the label now, not the wonder girls. Isnt JYPE incurring huge losses due to expenses from WG's US debut? But of cos its no fault of these awesome girls, just the major fails of JYPE for insisting on shipping them out to US. 2PM's bringing in the cash now, with all their gazillions cfs, variety appearances etc...so it seems to me that jype's focus is 2pm. WG gets shafted aside a little because of that i think. Still, i really wonder how will Kpop's landscape be like if JYPE never shipped WG to US at the peak of their popularity. They were almost phenomenal then ;;

but i think jyp is kinda.. ambitious about achieving some kind of breakthru in the us market. i think he knows its gna take time.. so wg is meticulously preparing for somekind of smash-hit album tt will expose the market to them. backburner maybe, but i feel its more of a work in progress.

I hope he really makes WG a smash-hit album, at least even one in the US. I mean its good to venture out and stuff etcetc, but somehow i wished he hadn't, u know... girls were doing so fine, sunmi wldnt have left, hyelim wld have been left in miss A, etcetc. He better do those girls some justice with the music they put out for what he puts them through for their US debut, sigh (though i know it isnt entirely under his control, but still.)

Nah, you're thinking too recently--WG are responsible for bringing JYPE back as a major record label. WG debuted back in 2007, and was the first JYPE idol group in this new era of K-pop...before WG, JYPE went 5 years without any remarkable success, ever since Rain left the label. Before WG, the only big JYPE idol group was g.o.d, and think about how long ago THAT was.

Yes, 2PM is JYPE's focus now, but part of the reason that JYPE had so much momentum to debut One Day and then miss A was because of WG's success, the monies they brought in in 2007-2008, and the prestige they brought back to the label's name.

i hope they release the album in places other than the US cuz im sure that other english speaking countries could make up for sales that they may not get in the us.

the biggest music markets in the world are the US, Japan and UK markets in that order right? id chuck a single out in those countries, asia (a more certain market) + a few of the bigger eu markets and australia (only cuz i live here lol)
