19.03.11 Super Junior's 3nd Asia Tour: Super Show 3 Malaysia fancams

Another mega SS3 post is here!!

Well, I also attended Super Show 2 and personally felt that I enjoyed myself more last year. I have no idea why. Probably because I prefer 3rd jib over the 4th and somehow, I also felt that there were more singing last year? Not forgetting the fact that SJ-M performed 2 songs instead of just 1. Plus, it felt rushed. I was later informed that their flight was at 11pm that night and apparently, the boys even checked out before the concert that noon.

However, at the end of the day, it was still a pretty darn good concert (and it seems my cousin brother preferred this year's) so here is what I managed to compile for all of you who enjoy fancams/want to re-live the concert on 19th March 2011. Noted: Not all fan-cams have been linked, just the ones I feel would be different compared to the others.

According to sequence... starting with the usual

Followed by one of my favourites of the night (it was so so so good, esp when ZM, Henry, HeeChul and JungMo emerged).

For No Other and Song For You, the blocks from L2-L6 did a special project and raised mini-hearts on cards so here is my view of the project. Apparently some ELFs from Thailand are mad over it since they did a similar one too but honestly, I wasn't aware of their project and I'm sure the same went for those who had organized it.

I was so excited when I realized Kyu was going to sing 新不了情(Xin Bu Liao Qing). And even though he wasn't suited up as he was in previous concerts (at least the ones I watched), he looked (and sounded) amazing in the casual all-black outfit too!

Was so excited to see Henry and it was slightly disappointing when the fan-chants came in later than it should have but overall, it looked like he enjoyed himself in Malaysia too and judging from my friends (who previously weren't Henry-biased), he obviously won a lot of hearts that night. =)

I didn't really like it. Partly because I felt it was redundant (although fans of KangIn will probably get me bricked) and also partly because it felt too morbid. I mean, holograms are usually only used when the singer is no longer alive, right?

I had been watching Kyu, Wookie and Henry's solos so much that it sort of lost some spark when I finally see/hear it LIVE. Then, YeSung came on with his solo and though he was never particularly my bias, it was magical. <3 Mid-way through, he stopped to let the crowd sing for him. ^^

A number of singing projects failed that night but at least, the Birthday song to Hyuk was done, thanks to Teukie. I daresay quite a lot of fans got selcas from the members that night (esp those with polaroid cameras). And if I'm not mistaken, a foreigner got to touch HeeChul's face with both her palms (LOL!) and I've read that quite a number managed to touch/shake Kyu's hands too.

Yeah. I went to both SS2 and SS3 here in Manila, and I've got to say that I liked SS2 setlist-wise. Production-wise, though, I prefer SS3. The solo performances were also better for SS3, but I liked more of the group songs in SS2. :)

Too bad EunHae didn't strip there. It's been vividly imprinted in my mind.

I didn't get to watch SS2 Manila so I can't compare it to SS3 Manila (production-wise). But I was able to watch SS2 in Malaysia and (from what I've heard) it had the same setlist as SS2 Manila (minus the Zhoumi solo). So yeah, I think SS2 definitely had a better setlist.

Production-wise, SS3 was pretty good. It was my first time watching a Super Junior concert in Araneta and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The crappy mics made me a bit disappointed though. We need a better stadium in Manila. :|

Does anyone know where I can find a fancam of 'Way for Love' where I can see Yesung clearly?
I was sittin right beside the small stage at the corner of the stadium at L2. My seat was front row, alone as well lol.
During Way of love, I brushed against Leeteuk when he took a banner from the girl next to me who rushed down from her seat.
Right after that Yesung came up to my area and threw a ball up.
He then stood right in front of me (less than 50cm!!!) and offered me a ball!
He threw it to me lightly, but being fail!Yesung as usual, he overestimated and the ball hit me smack between my eyes and fell to the hole in between.
So he laughed, smiled at me and then passed to me another ball, very gently this time! I took it of course! XD
During Wonder Boy, I got to touch Kyu's fingers and groped his arm. His skin is pretty bad irl. So is Shindong's.
Siwon's face had a few scars? on his jaw.
All of the members except for Sungmin, Eunhyuk and Donghae came to my area and stood ranging from 0.5-2.5 metres from me :)
The three of them were abt 4 metres away!

nghhh i loved yesung's solo so much. kyuhyun was sooooooo gorgeous that night sjdfksdljfsld BUT HE KEPT GOING TO THE OTHER END OF THE STAGE WHYYY. ;A; ~ also, ryeowook's little tomato dance during Cooking Cooking was too cute I COULDN'T HANDLE IT. and the rest of the perfs were just epic sobs. okay. clearly i need to get over this concert soon >.>

Something like that, yes! It lacked the sort of interaction the last one had. Somehow. Maybe it's due to the set list? They had much more easy-going (more to showing their vocals compared to dance/performance) songs last year, or so it felt.

Nice fancams, really nice. Yesung's solo was as beautiful as ever, I also grinned at Henry messing up the choreo. Oh boy. Can Kyu's voice get more beautiful, I guess it still can be heavenlier. Eunhyuk's solo was really nice too and I kinda smiled at the Kangin tribute.

Why can't there ever be a Super Show on other continents? T.T

Leeteuk singing Kiss Goodbye was beautiful, such a pleasant surprise :3 He lacks some emotion in the lyrics, but his voice suits that song so well.

And Ryeowook, my... I have to hear him sing live one day, he sings so beautifully. one thing i've learned about lead sm vocalists is they've learned to accentuate their singing with techniques, but yesung and ryeowook are some of the ones who also sing with emotion, giving their performances that extra oomph.

We didn't get Geng and KangIn by the time SS2 reached M'sia so I guess that wasn't really it. Plus, I was and still am super Geng bias so I was pretty disappointed when I couldn't see Geng in person last year.

I never seem to get tired of watching Henry perform "Baby". I adore his version. He has so much fun with it.

YESUNG SINGING IT HAS TO BE YOU!!! It was surreal, I feel much more blessed listening to the song than Siwon's solo (GOD BLESS YOU TO SHISUS). ANYWAY, YESUNG WAS FLAWLESS AND AMAZING.

BABY KYU!!!!! I love his voice so much I was literally shaking and crying that the fans sitting next to me had to calm me down whenever he's around (she's also a kyu fan so we pointed him out to each other all the time).

ENDING SPEECHES: MORE CRYING AND SHAKING WHEN THE BOYS RECITED ENGLISH LYRICS. THEY REALLY PUT THEIR EFFORT INTO INTERACTING WITH US FANS.

My friends and I thought we were the only ones who felt it was rushed (probably due to their schedule) but you thought so too for SS3? There was barely a gap between their supposed last song and their encore as compared to SS2. We didn't even have to chant for an encore for a while.

But you guys had Lady Hee Hee! I was hoping he would have healed in time but no, I barely saw him except towards the end and every time he appeared, he was either wearing sunglasses/a mask. =/ Glad for Perfection & Kiss Godbye though!
