Man arrested for molesting teen models

The owner of an underwear company was arrested on suspicion of forcing teenage female models to make lewd poses for the camera and posting their photos on a paid website, police said Friday.

The owner, surnamed Lim, is also suspected of having sex with runway teenage girls in exchange for offering them housing.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said Lim recruited four teenage girls as models for his company from April 2009 until recently.

The working contract they signed required them to be photographed in sexually suggestive poses. He posted their photos on a paid category of the company’s website and attempted to sell them to an adult website, police said.

Police have widened their investigation after finding 50 more such contracts at his home and in his car.

Well at least the media is bringing attention to issues like this. Unfortunately things like this happen all over the world, all of the time but a lot of it gets swept under a rug for various reasons. It's a serious issue and people need to talk about it.

The guy who started American apparel was accused of holding a teen as a sex slave, and before that, was coming under fire for his numerous underage looking models, posing in provocative poses with very little clothing (i.e. the one thing they were modeling). He's been sued for sexual harassment three times total.
