Tens of thousands across the globe think Wonder Girls will be the biggest Asian pop stars in the United States.
As part of Asian American Heritage Month, NY1 featured a series of profiles of Asian musicians looking to make it in the United States last month. Then, posed the question as to who would make it big.
Out of the 20,000 people who voted, 64 percent thought Wonder Girls would be stars.
Utada came in second with 30 percent and Se7en received 6 percent.
All the artists have released or will soon release English-language albums.

I remember when it came out people were bashing each other about it on soompi....I personally feel it's totally incorrect...this poll was an online poll so really at the end it came down to which fanbase knew of the poll and which fans actually wanted to vote, versus those who didn't give a crap. PLUS how many NON-kpop/jpop fans do you actually think voted? NO one has time to search up people they aren't interested in.
the way i see it there is NO WAY WG will succeed over Utada, she's already made a name for herself here (made top 100 billboards, first Japanese since 86). Wonder Girls should really concentrate in Asia first, they've only debut for almost 2 yrs?
