On Yashimmanman 2’s June 1 broadcast, guest Joo Ah Min confessed that she almost broke up with boyfriend (and Yashimmanman host) MC Mong because of Kang Ho Dong.
Joo Ah Min revealed, “There was a time awhile ago when MC Mong and Kang Ho Dong took an airplane together. Kang Ho Dong gave MC Mong’s phone number to a stewardess.”
The sterwardess called MC Mong while Joo was with him, but when he didn’t pick up his phone, she proceeded to send a text message. The text read, “Obba, this is ___ – do you remember me? Is this the right number?” When Joo asked her boyfriend who was trying to contact him, MC Mong lied and said that it was an auto repair shop.
The lie only upset Joo even more – “It was a problem that could have been overcome easily if [he] just truthfully said Kang Ho Dong gave [the stewardess] the phone number. But then [MC Mong] kept lying by claiming, ‘It’s connected to Eun Ji Won’. He finally told the truth in the end after three lies.”
Although she cut off communication with him after this incident, she found out from her parents that MC Mong was visiting everyday to drop off letters and had shed tears as he massaged their legs. She was touched by his actions and decided to give their relationship another chance.
In his defence, Kang Ho Dong explained that he wasn’t aware at the time that MC Mong had a girlfriend and that the stewardess truly seemed to like him.
Lee Hyun Woo, Jo Ahn and Yoon Sang Hyun were also guests on this week’s program.
