Group Big Bang member DaeSung have to give up with performing with Big Bang for their 1st broadcast performance on NHK for the filming of Family Outing.
Big Bang did the recording of their first debut performance into the Japanese major market on NHK ‘Music Japan’ on 1st June. But DaeSung was not present at the recording, because he was participating in the filming of variety show Family Outing. So Big Bang had performed as 4 members.
The reason was that DaeSung wanted to keep to his loyalty on Family Outing. Already, it has been said 2 months back that it will be hard for DaeSung to be on Family Outing because of their performance on 1st June.
This will be the last time for DaeSung to film with fellow Family members Park Ye Jin and Lee Cheon Hee as they will be leaving the team. This is a hard decision for DaeSung but looking at the situation, it seems that he can still perform in the future for Big Bang’s Japan stage but this will be the last time for FO with Park Ye Jin and Lee Cheon Hee.
Big Bang will be focusing on their Japanese activities for 2 months from June. DaeSung’s representative said, “As much as the Japanese activities are important, there are plans for DaeSung to travel between Korea and Japan so that he continues with Family Outing.”

So if you going to go in there, you need to go in there hard and can't half-ass your way either and you need to be able to make some sacrifice.

It doesn't look good, especially when you need all of the exposures that you can get.

of course big bang is more important but then, dae also has feelings for family outing as well. (a year plus of being together as a family is no joke)
this isn't just about having a contract or whatsoever.
i agree it doesn't look good, but dae has such great responsibility that he has made an apology video to the Japanese fans for his absence.
furthermore, they are going to be in Japan till august, i don't really see why daesung/bigbang cannot catch up as a whole.

Japanese girls like pretty boys, so TOP and GD already have those fans in lock. 2. He's skipping out on 2 things now and it looks bad because it sends a message that it's not important to him, regardless of how "cute" he is in his apology message. 3. Their genre of music doesn't have as large a following as the rest artists of JPOP.
I wouldn't want to be in his shoes personally as it's a touch decision but I don't think this it's selfish for us to think that it would be to HIS ultimate benefit to go to Japan instead.

YG is screwing these boys 6 ways to Sunday with this type of approach. He knew perfectly well these boys had other prioritize in order and the fact that he's basically double booked these boys and putting them in this type of positions, considering their plan to really enter the most difficult market in Asia, is making the boys look bad.
