IU apologizes for her me2day post

The issue regarding IU’s late arrival at the ‘Dream High‘ concert has blown out of proportion however, IU personally released a apology earlier today.

On February 25th, IU updated her me2day saying..


“Hello this is IU. I would like to apologize in a different manner but this is the only way for me to express my feelings so I’m sorry for posting this.. I sincerely apologize to all the people who have been hurt or displeased because of me yesterday and today. I was thoughtless… The ‘Dream High’ concert was delayed because I was late. I’m very sorry to the audience, the cast, and all the people that were there. Also, I’m sorry for being immature and causing anxiety by posting words regarding a personal issue before apologizing. I was very flippant.. After being punished and regreting my actions, I will not make a mistake again. I will be a mature and adult-like IU. Those who have been disappointed because of me.. I promise you. Once again, I bow my head before many and apologize. I’m sorry.“

The issue of her lateness arose due to her lack of an apology. Hopefully this apology will bring down the drama.

It makes me angry that she (or any artist) has to apologize for speak out her feelings.

Why netizens have to be so... stupid? trolls? I mean, they are people too, they get tired, they have feelings. They should be grateful that she's saying her personal thoughts because she has to release in some way, it's HER me2day - -. If they don't like it well... they shouldn't go there and should TRY TO GET A FUCKING LIFE.

ughhhh. I am so mad about this whole situation, it is like she has no rights to speak her feelings at all. Poor bb looks so utterly exhausted (esp in hter latest KBS Music Bank performance, her hair seemed limp too...) and I think she's lost weight... or that is just me being an overly protective stan. I mean she has to record, Heroes, Dream High, not to mention promote her new single.... I don't understand why her agency couldn't have arranged for her promotions to restart AFTER she finished off with Dream High!

And I heard the kids are not getting sleep filming Dream High... JYP tweeted on Monday that they were filming the final episode and they had been on set for 32 hours and still going.

I hope she gets some rest soon.

oh and...i'm not too sure, but the link from Nate links to "celebrity news". the "medical today" reference is next to the reporter's name. the title "my star news" is also next to the reporter's name, which i'm guessing means that the reporter writes for both "medical today" and "my star news". that's what i think :/

She sounds so mature. I'm older than her (only a couple of years, but still) and I'm not even half as mature as this T.T I probably won't even reach this level of maturity for awhile yet either xD
I guess being in this industry forces you to grow up faster. Sad reality ;_;

On another note, the idea of IU apologising to fetuses with a curfew for her immaturity is silly and makes me laugh.
