So we have a bad news and a good news for our fans out there.

We have talked to the writer of StarKing and they offered a good deal for us to show up on their show. Super Junior will be on StarKing for next two months and they really wanted us to be there with Super Junior. But to be straight forward, Royal Pirates won't be able to show up on StarKing. Many of you might wonder why we would make this decision, so here are the reasons:

First of all, we had a major conflict with our school work and classes. Scheduling was difficult with both of us.
Secondly, we both agreed on the fact that we did not want to leave an image of a "Cover Band" or a "Super Junior Band" to the world and to Korea. We did not want people to think that we are just another group of people who wanted to show up on TV to gain fame by playing other artists' songs.

We are really sorry for the fans who waited for us to come out on StarKing, but we hope that you guys would understand. It was a really hard decision to make.

Here is the good news. We actually have been contacted with few entertainment/management companies and we will be meeting them soon and talk about our career as a band.(And hopefully bring more good news to our fans)
We also have an upcoming interview with allkpop.com so tune in for us and we hope to see you guys soon either through youtube or any other media.

Thanks for the support as always. Rock Hard & Love Easy.

I'm an AKP reader, and I totally wholeheartedly agree with this. When I was a noob on the site, I was taken aback by how lopsided the writing was. It took some time to adjust to.

Their writing style only really appeals to 12-16 year olds

Yeaaaah true. All the band debuting at like age 12 just gives the rest of us incentive to bail out lol

Although I would love to see them on Star King with SuJu, I think their reasoning was pretty admirable so kudos to them. I love them dearly~

I love their version of "Sorry, Sorry," and their other stuff isn't bad either. But mostly I'm excited that they live right around where I do. lol.

Anyway, I think it was a good choice since they want to be taken seriously.

I think these guys are so amazing!
Totally rooting for their success!

I love Royal Pirates, and if I was in their position, I'd definitely reject the Star King offer too. They definitely wouldn't have as much credibility. Good decision.

Smart boys. They know the business. It'll be nice to see more rock on the KPop scene. Hope these guys do well...

Gotta love these guys, they made a good choice. I'm certain they'll get even more attention over time, even without their appearance on StarKing. There will be more opps!

I agree with them. I would want to do the same thing to be taken serious and not just be a novelty. It's hard to turn down such great exposure though.

good luck to them! korea is in bad need of rock bands so hopefully they'll debut there (and not in 6 years like on jyp). lol

aw good luck to the boys :) i understand their reasons and those projects were fun for them, but i'm sure they want to pursue their careers as musicians in their own right. they can't be living in the shadow by sj or dbsk or wg if they want to succeed with that.

i agree with the comments about allkpop. :/

I am really disappointed ;_;
But of course I get their point and respect it, school being more important than star king. They should just wait for summer vacation, go to star king, play sorry sorry AND their original tune, release it as a single and there goes.
It just would be so epic I'd prolly buy all their stuff.

yeah, i guess it was the right decision~
but still i'm a bit sad cause i would have loved to see them on Star King =D
i really hope they'll be able to debut someday~ i love their remakes of SORRY, SORRY, Circus, Nobody, MIROTIC and so on <33

If this is old news I fail because I didn't hear about it :(
I'd have loved to see them with Super junior but to reject this offer is really admirable and shows they are really serious about their music which is also awesome. I hope those interviews go well for them :D
But Ugh. allkpop. I don't get that site. Agree with comments about them...
