 (SEOUL KR) : After weeks of anticipation, K-Pop creative agency, DFSB Kollective, has just announced the confirmed lineup for its SEOULSONIC concert series. Stagediving into Seoul's dynamic music scene, SEOULSONIC breaks the speed of now with a pulsating radar on Korea's top breakthrough artists. From indie clubs to international festivals, SEOULSONIC pushes the tempo of Korean music acts making waves across and beyond Asia.

For March 2K11, SEOULSONIC will be rolling out its first ever North American tour featuring AltROK sensations Galaxy Express, Idiotape, and Vidulgi OoyoO.



Launching at Canada’s largest music festival, CMW Canadian Music Week (Toronto Ontario : March 9th - 12th), SEOULSONIC will take its traveling rock n roll roadshow to the 25th anniversary celebration of America’s biggest and best new music festival, SXSW South By Southwest (Austin Texas : March 16th - 20th) with additional concert dates in New York City (March 21st - 27th TBA) and Los Angeles (March 28th - April 2nd TBA).

Special guests on the SEOULSONIC North America tour include 2010 Korean Music Award Best New Band winners, Apollo 18 (SXSW), as well as Korean-American modern rockers Kite Operations (New York City) and singer-songwriter Big Phony (Los Angeles).

Might just be my personal opinion, but in general krock seems to suck pretty hard. Are these guys any good?

I would say it sucks in genereal, but it depends on what you like. I've got a few amazing krock recommendations from one of Omonians, and I definitely wasn't dissappointed.

But unfortunately guys from this post didn't appear on my list xD

Galaxy Express, imo, is one of the better bands that Korea has to offer. But they're def on the harder side of things.

I think krock is actually real awesome, they have a lot of creative stuff. Definitely check out Galaxy Express and i see on your comment below you want some metal i shall give you the metals. I really suggest you check out krockisreal which is run by the lovely lightinthemind, she has lots of stuff to listen to and some bands i suggest are Crash, Naty, Ares, Holymarsh, Vassline, Ninesin and that's all i can think of right now xD

krock is definitely not like american or like european stuff... they just have a different aesthetic.
although i do like khip hop and electronica kind of stuff A LOT but their rock bands are not my style :/

have you heard about schizo, dr.core911, novasonic, pia, nell and others?
they are pretty good for me, for example, cause i like more straight sound and pure groul and mens vocal...
also i have in my collection punk, garage punk, metal and other bands...

that's why i cant say that krock sucks, its a matter of taste and knowledge)

you guys should check out "the moonshiners". they often play with "galaxy express" and have a 50s surfer rock sound. they also perform in matching old school suits.
