Shin Jung Hwan’s post-op condition reported to be quite serious

Shin Jung Hwan’s leg surgery was deemed a success a few days back, it’s recently been revealed that his condition may be worse than anyone expected.

On February 14th, MBC’s “Good Day” covered a story on Shin Jung Hwan’s surgery and post-op report, for which they interviewed the surgeon in charge of the entertainer’s operation.

His doctor revealed, “Shin Jung Hwan’s bone was broken at about a 30~40 degree angle, and so it healed incorrectly. Since his ankle was only twisted at 30 degrees, the situation ended up being neglected for a long time.”

The Director of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Im Chang Su, stated, “In this case, inflammation may be possible and at worst, could deform the bones. If that happens, he will have to go through post-op rehabilitation for five to six months. Also, his bones may not align correctly and in the worst case, he may not be able to walk again.”

Ouch. Sounds like somebody broke his leg due to gambling debts and it got this serious because he didn't get it treated right away and had some metal in his leg already due to some earlier accident.
