hmm...I dunno at first I was like ugh Teddy WAYLT...but I know that when I have been teaching really important stuff with what seems like no time, if someone who doesn't know me tries to tell me to change something it really puts me off, but if I hear the same thing from someone who is close to me then it's not as bad.

maybe they give translations? or maybe for the girls they want something punchy, with moves that speaks to the audience, but taeyang is known for his great abilities so they just wanted something awesome etc.. i mean, a great rnb choreo ~~LIKE USHER~~ you know

I think she choreographed the song to the English version because she wasn't given translations for the Korean one. When talking about the 2nd song she's going to choreograph she said "and this time I actually have the lyrics" or something like that.

She wasn't a backup dancer. She was just in a MV/commercial with her for Anycall. She was just a trainee then and auditioned (because Anycall likes to have unknown talent paired in with the stars in their CF/MV's like how Victoria was casted with Rain for their endorsment.)

Dara and Minji aren't confident about their english i think, not enough to get what Mari says, they're quickly impressed, and Bom well, she doesn't talk that much..

I'm pretty sure Dara can speak English. It's how she communicated with Filipinos for a long time before she learned Tagalog. And even though English in Philippines is different to US, she was mostly hanging around with celebrities whose English are up to par with Americans. Dara's just like Bom when it comes to people who she doesn't know yet. Minji tries but she's still not confident with it.

the obvious answer would be that the current moves work better for the girls because they're singing and dancing at the same time. and some of the current moves are also more memorable and easier for the public to follow.

but i've been re-watching the episode, and im beginning to think that bom might be the reason why certain moves were changed.
like those moves for "let's rock, just take it to the top, aint never gonna stop..."? they showed clips from several days of rehearsal and bom really could not keep up in any of them. she looked so incredibly worn out doing those particular moves.

i actually found the old choreo more memorable, but i can see why it be a little more difficult to sing. and ia, bom was behind on all the moves, but she could have caught up. idk i just don't believe in sacrificing the dance for those reasons. the final version of can't nobody is unimpressive; the parts i like are all from the original choreo (eg the chorus).

Can you blame them though? Considering how breathless Bom got during the mini album, not surprised that they took this into account. Then again, YG isn't really into the synchronized/perfect dance, as long as the girls have fun during the performance. But yeah, re-watching the live performance again, I remember how everyone commented that the dance for Can't Nobody looks so lame and easy.

I want to donate money to Quin (I think he's the one editing the videos) because one of the comments from his friends was how his laptop was too old to handle all the editing he's doing. I need him to edit their videos fast. Who knows, maybe they also filmed Tae yang's visit. I want to see that! But the way it's going, I feel like I won't be able to see it until next year. :( They're as slow as YG, lol.

+1. every time i see bom so exhausted by something my reaction isn't "MAN YOU'RE RUINING THE CHOREO BOM" but "lord can someone help this girl". i feel like all this pressure was put on her to lose weight like eating sparingly would somehow make her have more endurance and energy but it does the exact opposite :|
