"SS501 disbanded" ? Triple S enraged !

In the screencap of Jung Min it says 'SS501해체라고요'.
According to Ode '해체' means disbandment.
This sub-title enraged TripleS.

Group SS501's fans are now angered.

On February 1, member of Group SS501 Park Jungmin appeared in SBS TV variety 'Strong Heart' and shared stories about the difference with starting solo activities under the subject talk -- 'Solo and Group'.

The root of this issue arose when Park Jungmin was speaking halfway and the phrase 'SS501 Disband' began to appear in the broadcast's subtitlings.

To this, SS501 fans have made protests on 'Strong Heart's notice board, "It's not a disbandment, I'm truly speechless", "We courteously demand for an apology", "Seems like you all are not putting our SS501 fandom in eyes, indeed this is The-Strong-Heart huh", thus demanding an apology for the producers' fault.

After ending their contract with previous agency DSP Media, SS501 have since moved agencies. Kim Hyunjoong was the first to move into Keyeast, after which Kim Hyung Jun and Park Jung Min also both went to different separate agencies. And then again, Heo Young Saeng and Kim Kyu Jong also moved into B2M Entertainment in which Lee Hyori is in.

Amidst the SS501 fandom, there are also a part of fans who are concerned over whether or not SS501 has already been disbanded. However, through many interviews, SS501 members have all revealed that "there is ample possibility for all five of them to unite again on the same stage whenever possible, though they may be pursuing their separate activities for the moment now".

BREAKING NEWS!

A disbanded group, that is keeping it's fan's hope alive while continuing to say they are not disbanded, is called a disbanded group on a popular show. Fans all over the world freak, even though they haven't said they WOULD return, just that there is a possibility. DBSK's Yunho also said that they would keep the possibility of the 5 of them reuniting alive. Will we ever see it?

I had to hear all kinds of people say CSJH was disbanded, and I didn't get all bent out of shape. It's no big deal, if and when they come back, then you can have more fun saying they reunited, and made an EPIC comeback. That's way cooler then "My group just stopped for like 3 years no big deal."

Yeah there's a thin line between hiatus and disbanded. Disbanded bands reunite all the time. Bands that take hiatuses sometimes never return. I view SS501 in that same way. Hiatus, disbanded, either way they're all solo right now and nothing in the future spells out an SS501 comeback anytime soon.

The problem I have with this, is that a member of double S doesn't want to do the kind of music they are forced to do in the group. I have a very strong feeling that SS501 doesn't really plan on coming back, but because they're all friends they are united, and want to push the "we could maybe come back." When a group officially "disbands" It seems to always have a VERY strong negative connotation because some of the other groups that disbanded had really rough moments, H.O.T being one that comes to mind.

Korea uses hiatus now, which is a weaker term, and provides faith to the fans, but honestly, a hiatus and a disbanded group aren't so different sometimes. I think there was a female kpop group that didn't even know their company had disbanded them until forever after the fact. Disband is just a naughty word, even if your group has disbanded, you'll probably keep it really quiet until the very last minute.

yeah that's what it's supposed to mean. but lots of disbanded groups come back together - Luna Sea and X-Japan announced that they would disband years ago and now they're back in action again.

oh. for months i legit thought they had disbanded already *shrugs* i never seen a successful united band whose members were all signed to different agencies. How do they split fees when you share a stage? cf's? who's agency pays for music videos, choreographers, costumes, etc?

The thing is that SS501 departed DSP on amicable terms, goes to each other's fanmeetings, are constantly telling fans they will come together for a comeback after their solo activities, so it's more of a when than if. All 5 are still active in the entertainment scene, so it's also different from, say, SechKies where some members left the industry. No lawsuit, no bad feelings, I just consider this a temporary group break, no different than Bigbang's members doing solo activities, except that they are no longer under one company, plus DSP will still be producing their album /shrugs
