New comer band Mate has proved to be popular amongst rock music fans just 1 month into their debut.
Currently promoting the song ‘Longing’, the group released their 1st album ‘be Mate‘ in April. They were one of the most searched keywords on portal sites after their music were aired on radio.
They also received much attention after having appeared on several radio shows like ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Radio Paradise’, ‘Bae Chul Soo’s music camp’ and ‘Sweet Sorrow’s TenTen Club’.
They also performed live on ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook’ on 22nd May on KBS 2TV channel, with which their live performances were well received by viewers and downloaded by many music fans.
Their album sales are almost on par with that of many new album releases, bys singers like Kim Dong Ryul, Lee Seung Chul, V.O.S etc. They are also #1 for rock music album downloads.
They will also be holding their first concert coming July, to which their concert tickets were soldout in just 4 hours since the ticket sales started.
