It’s almost impossible to imagine a pop artist or group without considering their dance choreographies. For example, veteran J-pop group EXILE is known for their great dance performances, and recently their female protégés, “Happiness“, described themselves as a ‘dance unit’. KARA, BoA and Girl's Generation were able to make the list.
Considering this emphasis on dance in pop music, mobile portal site ‘NTT DoCoMo/goo‘ wanted to know which female solo artist or group delivers the best dance performances. The results are in, so check them out below!

Date: 2011-01-30 03:12 pm (UTC)namie has every right to be number 1 on that list. the only "invalid" aspect of the list is the mix of order after her. cause TECHNICALLY boa should be higher.
but keep in mind, the height of some artists (with the exception of queen amuro) has a lot to do with visibility. boa hasn't been fully active/popular/released a big hit in japan for a while now and KARA has a great fanbase there. i'm surprised they trumped perfume who has some the the most creative choreography and on spot dancing i've seen come out of jpop/kpop in a long ass time.
