SM's new band "M1" sound like ~wonderful~ people

SM Entertainment has announced that a new boy band named "M1" will be debuting in March or April 2011. When fans heard this news, they immediately connected the name to the "female Girls' Generation" that SM had been preparing.

The nine-member boy band had been dubbed "So Nyun Chun Ji," or "Boys' Land." The rumored members of SNCJ include Jino, who already debuted through SM the Ballad. Others include:




Yoo Chiwon, who is rumored to have vocal talent matching Xiah Junsu,


Ryu Chao, a Chinese member,


Kim Jongin, SHINee Taemin's friend,


Han Kyuwan (23), an internet ulzzang who failed to make either SS501 or Battle,


and Kim Munkyu (18), the trainee Lee Sooman likes the most.


However, SNCJ already have a lot of antis even before they have debuted. The boys had been brought to TVXQ's Mirotic concert and had sat playing on their Nintendo DS in the VIP seats, to many Cassiopeian's anger. They have also said on their Cyworlds that TVXQ, Super Junior, and SHINee were guinea pigs for their debut and that they could not debut because the three groups had not broken up. Some members have even cursed on TVXQ songs "Don't Say Goodbye" and "Love in the Ice." Even now, every post about them on Korean community sites are negative.

Ikr? Seeing as how Junsu's voice is one of the best I've ever heard (haters bugger off it's my opinion and I'm sticking to it idgaf), if this kid comes anywhere close to it I will automatically stan him js.

His voice is what got me into kpop tbh. I love his voice so much, and he will more than likely always be my favorite singer <3

you know, the more i listen the more it grows on me. my problem is that i dislike it's timbre if that makes sense. it just feels off-color to me, always. but he uses it brilliantly.

i often compare it ryeowook. i love ryeowook's voice but most people don't, even if few wouldn't agree that he's a brilliant vocalist.

No I understand, that's how Jaejoong's voice is for me. Always just slightly off color too me. And to be honest, I don't like singers that use too much vibrato when they sing; Junsu is literally the only exception, mostly because I'm so captivated by how well he sings. There are tons of other amazing singers out there that I can't listen to because they use to much vibrato, but for whatever reason I can overlook it with Junsu.

Haha Ryeowook's voice is to nasally for me, but I can't deny that the boy can sing, and sing extremely well.

oh my god, sunggyu is this for me. watching him sing live actually sends chills down my back. the boy has so much emotion.

it's the same thing that junsu and ryeowook do, actually. if you watch each of their performances (i'd pick bolero for junsu, but that's a bit obvious...so any, really, maybe sorry sorry answer for ryeowook and a recent BTD for sunggyu)you'll notice that they all do this fucking amazing thing when they start emoting and their voice is just pulled out of them.

litening to ryeowook makes my toes curl. watching sunggyu is breathtaking.

some of these boys are so fucking talented it's amazing. and some of them have just trained so fucking hard...ide.

it's why i'm always so frustrated by boys like kyuhyun. beautiful voice, stunning control, and no emotion. completely flat. my favorite boy only ever growled out the music in exactly three seconds during SSA, and i've always regretted listening to that song; i can never, ever get over hearing the potential in his voice when i listen to him sing. :/

Omfg exactly. It's the emotion that draws me in. There was one performance of Asu wa Kuru Kara that DBSK did, and Junsu hit this one note in it that had goosebumps covering my whole body and tears in my eyes from how incredible it was, and it wasn't even the high belted note, it was just a little rif he did in the middle of the song that sounded... it didn't even sound like a person had sung it, idek.

I totally get what you mean with Sunggyu, he and Woohyun just ugh they're so damn good, I could listen to them sing forever.

I get so disappointed when I see someone that has the potential to be a fucking incredible singer fall flat because of something like that. So much talent wasted because of lack of proper training or the fact that they're overshadowed by other people in the group. Smh :|

junsu is actually my favorite voice in kpop. I know there are quite a few people here who dislike his voice, but if there was one person I could listen to forever, it's him. I think it's the way he puts so much emotion into the songs.
