Everybody thought they would do Oh! but the single release happened to be a rumor. Maybe they'll do it later but I don't think they would remake another song. I guess they'll go on with new songs after that... Plus I doubt they'd remake old stuff like ITNW or Kissing You and they've already released Hoot as a Korean license in Japan, so a Japanese version shouldn't be in the making.
It's not that bad, but I hope this will be their last remake. I think SM should give them a month to sleep and practice their Japanese and then let them come back with a kickass new song.
No need to say "uuuh damn SM make new songs" in every article. 1) They are under Universal Music in Japan, not SM. 2) That's called business. They are using the potential of their Korean songs, something they would be dumb not to do. Why spend money on making new songs when there already have hits under their belts ? I'm not saying I like it this so much but I understand why they're doing this. I honestly don't care whether they release new songs or not in Japan right now since their Japanese activities aren't too important right now - thanks god.
At least as long as they remake their (good) Korean songs, it's pretty sure they won't come up with some unnecessarly bad original song. This comes from someone who has been listening to some Korean artists' Japanese discographies very carefully. I guess J-Pop is not just my taste though. I've found a very small portion of nice tunes comparing to the huge amount of singles and albums that those Korean artists have released in JP.
Anyway, I don't like the beginning of Japanese Run Devil Run, they've done a weird job on their voices, like an echo or something - maybe it's just the quality. Other than that, I like the 1st and last chorus. The rap is jjang in Japanese and Seohyun's part sounds amazing.
Hum and I'm still wondering why Universal hasn't announced an official single release yet considering the girls are not busy in Korea right now. The exclusive release of RDR on Recochoku doesn't seem so juicy to me.
their japanese...is weird i don't really mind them using their korean song..but at least..they should try harder to practice speaking japanese before singing it...that would be nice.
