Asia’s star, BoA, has finally embarked on the preparations for her leading role in a Hollywood dance film.
Set to begin filming this year, the movie is currently untitled but will be directed by Duane Adler of other dance genre movies such as “Step Up” and “Save the Last Dance.” The movie had headlined earlier after Adler revealed that he wrote the script with BoA in mind as the leading role.
The movie is also produced by Robert Cort of “Jumanji,” “Runway,” “Bride“, and 55 other Hollywood films. He has previous experience working with Adler for “Save the Last Dance.”
BoA will begin dissecting the scenario and officially prepare for her role before she joins the film set. She previously revealed on her Twitter on January 4th, “Athena… and that’s how I leave… I’ll now work hard in preparing for my movie. Eusha!!”

she just arrived in the states about 3 days ago and apparently has been reading up on the script according to her twitter updates. the past couple of months she's also been brushing up on her english proficiency via skype lessons with a tutor. hopefully she won't be too knocked out for the double smtown concerts in tokyo this weekend. ;;

Considering she's only staying for a week before having to go back for SM Town Live, not to mention she's also missing the Seoul Music Awards tomorrow. Ah, well, I guess she must be used to it somewhat.
And that is a gigantic pizza. And Ha Ji Won wore that hoodie in a different color on the last episode of Secret Garden! Haha.
