2PM’s Taecyeon (23) and Beast’s Yoon Doojoon (22) who are now active as actors are enjoying increasing popularity of a similar nature due to their nicknames as ‘appetite-dols’.
Taecyeon who is now acting in the KBS2 drama Dream High as the talented dancer Jinkook brought laughter to the audience due to the persistent eating done by his character who has been given the title ‘Jinkook the god of eating’. This is the first time Taecyeon is showing off his acting skills as a god of eating. Taecyeon who made his acting debut in the KBS2 drama Cinderella Sister played the character Jung Woo who fell in love with Eun Jo because she constantly prepared wonderful meals for him.
Meanwhile, Yoon Doojoon who is starring in the MBC daily sitcom All My Love is famous for his character’s trusting nature and an appetite to be proud of. In the show, his character who is described as a ‘beastly boy’ is able to fall asleep anywhere within 10 minutes and eats everything that is edible with gusto. He always carries a spoon with him wherever he goes.
The interesting thing is that the duo are really ‘eating god-dols’ in real life. An official from Taecyeon’s agency stated, ‘ In reality, the character that Taecyeon plays is similar to his own character. He is a comfort-loving person. The audience love his healthy image that eats well and sleeps well.’
