As much as I loved the drama of the Obsession performance from MCD, I like this one better: stripped down, the stronger presence of the instruments, and he had better control of his vocals on this one I think. Also, the breathing into the mic... *-* damn.
tbqh i thought it was much more nasally done this time around--his voice was huskier on MCD, which i loved--but i really liked the stripped down stronger presence he has on stage. i couldn't quite take him as seriously because of his tragic choice in styling, though.
all in all, the music was better here, his voice, as you said, was more consistent, but i think vocally i actually prefer MCD.
OH MOM ;__; I love his voice. I actually love it. The little extra rasp/rawness in his voice for the live, gorgeous. And TOP sprawled out on the floor is always a nice sight.
Haru haru was glorious, perfectly done. Obsession sounded gorgeous, in a lower tone and with a live tone it is even better than the album version. Oh Mom made me tear up, idgaf if I sound like a pussy, its such a sad song. I was jammin so goddamn hard Baby Good Night & High High as well!
