this is a HIGHLY recommended read. more thorough, easier to understand, and written/translated personally by 10asia staff. the first post, while a combined translation of multiple sources, still managed to cut portions of the dialogue short, and that coupled with some awkward translations evidently led to some misunderstandings. of course, each source publishes slightly different content and with its own slant. so, if nothing else, this translation should lend more integrity to the original content of the article since it does not depend on multiple outside parties to do the translating.

when I read this version, I thought I understood some parts better, even if the content and translation obviously is a little different.

This is much more detailed and easier to understand.
But I do get since it was from a press conference, all of the journalists decided to write as different from each other as possible, and to send out different messages - but I prefer this out of all the articles that I have read.

Yunho's "More than anything, I think everyone is trying" and his "Come back soon" and the whole "the 3 briefly left home and we're taking care of the house" had me tearing. Idc how people are going to interpret this, but I'm interpreting it as "DBSK" being home, not SMENT as people have been thinking.


and yunho talking about being hurt :(((( god.
and again, the whole "it's possible but the 3 and the agency have to reach an agreement" is something i whole-heartedly agree with. it's possible, but we have to stay realistic and look at the troubles at hand first.

ugh i wish i could just copy and paste the entire thing and jkflsdflhgjdfls. i'm not gonna read any other translations from that pressconference lol, i'll keep reading this to stay sane.

also i just appreciate that this source lets you know how much more changmin also talked lol cries, in general and about their situation with jyj; the other translations would have you think otherwise. o___o;

I'm still confused though..
Korean cassies were obviously upset about this interview and the first articles were taken down the same day.. so after reading 100000 of translations i really don't know which one i can trust^^
why did they put up a new version? couldn't they have imagined from the start that the first version would sound harsh?

oh, i think you're confusing this article with some unofficial posts about the press conference that were later taken down (i.e. the one that talked about geese... >>). this is definitely legit, it's from 10asia, a very well-known press publication that actively interviews k-entertainers. their interviews are usually very insightful, too, if i may say so.

i already felt a lot of respect for homin's answers based on the other translation and i'm even more impressed with the way they are handling things after reading this translation.
yunho is so eloquent and he continues to prove his maturity and leadership skills. though both he and changmin have impressed throughout this ordeal.

Yunho and Changmin are such articulate people.

This put their views into perspective well and I forever sympathize with both them and JYJ in this whole situation. I just feel like the media is warping things constantly (with no help from sm twitter responses, srsly) and twisting everyone's words, and it seems like Yunho realizes this and tries his best not to jump to any conclusions - I respect him so much. ♥

i felt like that was one of the major differences i really wanted people to see. that he didn't actually jump to conclusions about junsu's tweet, despite how everyone assumed he did. and that he was actually trying to be very understanding and compassionate, even if he admits their values are different.

actually i feel an important difference in this translation is that it shows how much more changmin talked than other translations would have you think, since they cut so much out. yunho is definitely speaking up as the leader he is, but changmin is also doing his part.

Thanks for posting bb :) I definitely think this gives better insight if only because it's an actual transcript of parts of the press conference as opposed to the paraphrased version by the other media. Also, 10.asiae is written by native speakers so I have more faith in their understanding of how subtle Korean can be; makes all the diff!

This translation sounds very sincere, I didnt like how Homin were portrayed as 'enemies/bad people'. Although I am sad that they are not the original 5 any more, I have come to accept that they are taking different paths. I just hope that their paths meet each other again in the future.
