Eunjung returns to perform, 80% healed

Injured member Eunjung returns on stage at KBS2TV's Music Bank. She performed Yayaya with the other 6 members.

At the end of last year, on December 26th, it was reported that Eunjung injured her left knee, specifically her ligament. On her way to her schedule, she hurt herself because of the slippery ice, and was sent to the hospital. Wanting to return on the same day, she tried going back but was met with even more pain.

The doctors have examined Eunjung and released the statement that she needs a total of 4 weeks to fully recover, and she needed a leg cast.

However, Core Contents Media said, "Eunjung has recovered quickly and the initial 2 weeks of recovery went well. She is now 80% healed."

This is just poor form on the part of her management.

Even if she asked to be there, she should have been told "no". Full-stop.

Whether or not the dance is little more than "shuffling around and waving their hands", it only takes a small movement to create a fracture or tear, if you stress a bone or any connective tissue in the right way. If she's not 100% healed, she should not be doing any choreography period, and should put minimal unnecessary stress on the joint.

She's already doing the drama + the day to day shuffling around between schedules. Her schedule before the injury was already crammed (hence all the sleeping pics) but to do that full schedule w/ an injury that's not fully healed is just asking for trouble.

Tiffany (SNSD) had the same injury as her but SM wouldn't let her perform, she even missed their Hoot goodbye stages, the award shows (GDA and MMA) and the FNS Festival in Japan.

Exactly, because knee injuries are really tough...without the right rehabilitation, it might become a recurring injury :(
