Miss A's Suzy is once again being sliced and diced for her bad acting.

On the 4th, KBS' Monday Tuesday drama, "Dream High" showed Baek Hee (Ham Eun Jung) being accepted into Gi Rin High while the much anticipated Hye Mi (Suzy) was rejected.

Hye Mi finds herself kneeling in front of Jung Ha Myung (Bae Yong Jun) begging to be accepted. Though in the end Hye Mi is seen spewing, "I will make you regret rejecting me."  On the flip side Baek Hee says, "I will make sure you don't regret accepting me."

It was the climax for the Baek Hee Hye Mi conflict storyline. In the end Baek Hee, Pil Sook (IU), and Chris (Woo Young) are the accepted.

There was especially a lot of surprise over the fact that Suzy's acting has not improved at all since the first episode. Her lines are flat as always as if she's reading a book, and her facial expressions does not show much emotion.

During the scene where she is begging to be accepted while on her knees, also did not portray such feelings.

To add on, when asked by Ha Myung, "Why are you kneeling?" The reply given was, "Just to see your nostrils." Such awkward lines from Hye Mi brought unbelievable laughs (T/N not the good kind) from viewers.

Viewers posted on the drama's forums, "I want to continue watching but it's frustrating and annoying." "The inadequate acting is getting in the way of me trying to focus on the drama." "This here is a prime example why experience can't be overlooked."

But there were other views too. "The more I watch her acting isn't alright." "It is her first acting gig so I think I'll have to wait and see."

People watching that drama and being all critical about the acting, I'm really judging you rn. The all cast is made of idols and while some of them might be allright, the major part is going to be cringe material.

It's not their job in the first place. They learn. Some are going to be able to do good after some time, others don't. Very few are able to perform right away.
Not everyone is freakin Di Caprio.

? why can't we be critical of how well someone acts if they are acting in a drama? It doesn't matter whether it's their job or not. But if they are cast in a drama, then yeah it technically IS their job. Actors in a drama act - whether they are experienced, newbies, idols, whatever. If they can't act, don't cast them.

I don't think any worse of the idol for not being good at every artistic talent in the world, - imo it's silly to expect your idols to be perfect and talented at everything - but that doesn't mean I think that they should act (a lead role no less) in a drama if they don't know how/have no experience acting. Let them take classes, practice on small roles etc. and then when they actually have the skill set to do something, let them pull out some larger roles. Or dump them in the ocean, and let them sink or swim, but be prepared for your drama to get criticized if the idol can't handle things.

it was a mistake casting her as a lead when she obviously needs more work....her character is an eyesore anyways so that might be another reason for the hate since her character is a complete bitch...but in her defense...they gave her too much responsibility and i dont know if it was the directors or JYP's fault but they had too much ambition...another thing..it was inevitable to have bad press..i mean...there are so many idols and people who havnt acted before...one last thing...of course it wasnt gonna be a HUGE difference in acting from the first...wait until they start showing the episode they started filming after the first episode aired to judge..the main reason for watching this was Wooyoung, which is a mistake since he'll barely be in the drama...i didnt mean for this to be an essay...-__-

This shiz kicking up more debate than I expected. Why so serious? Most idol actors aren't expected to be mind blowingly good and everyone could tell what a mess this could turn into from when all the casting was revealed. Just watch and enjoy the pretty bits. :)

It really is not that bad. I haven't seen the second episode, but I thought she was okay in the first one. Hyun Joong's acting is terrible. He has no emotion behind the words he says. Suzy isn't going to win an Oscar anytime soon, but she has some definite spunk and personality.

UEE was a great bitch character when she was a rookie in You're Beautiful. Suzy is just awkward and dull in Dream High. Though I wouldn't have wanted Eunjung to be the bitch because she's to loverly <3
