Yes in no less than two years after their debut, it is the second coming of Wonder Girls. Apparently, JYP China has been working over time prepping the Chinese version of the Wonder Girls, named “Sisters”, for their official debut. The group was introduced by JYP’s ballad quartet 2AM while they were doing promotions for their recent release “A Friend’s Confession” in China. In these newly uploaded videos, the girls perform Wonder Girls’ “Nobody (Rainstone Remix)” and do a special “hip hop” dance to “Booty Bangs” by Jessi Malay. Surprisingly, their voices are pretty good, of course we are still talking about idol standards of good, but good nonetheless. The dancing in both videos was smooth but at the same time, pretty emotionless. But hey, maybe they have first time jitters, I'll cut them some slack for that.

These girls may not be drop dead gorgeous, but they do have “potential talent in singing” and uniformity in dancing. But why would JYP go through all this trouble shipping Wonder Girls off to America where they will go up against the likes of Beyoncé, Britney Spears, and Miley Cyrus? Shouldn’t he have spent his efforts on pulling a Napoleon on the rest of Asia and creating his own little empire? Baby steps dude, baby steps!

*For the record, the choreography for the hip hop dance appears to be taken directly from a Youtube video posted by a dance teacher in New York named Luam Keflegzy. Intellectual property is the most difficult to protect from plagiarism, so unfortunately, the video has been removed. Here is the hip hop routine, their moves are fluid, but I don’t get the feeling they are enjoying this performance.

WHOA. What happened to that JYP Chinese soloist that was supposed to debut in China? Liu Xin or whatever? Aish, JYP, concentrate on that girl before you make another group, lol.

haha, thats cute^^ Everything in Asia is like, interwined. If theres a hit group in Korea, theres a similar group in China. If theres a really good drama in China, Korea/Japan is in the process of making a similar drama but "better". haha =^^=

Doesn't anyone think this is ridiculous? Makes the Wonder Girls seem really gimmicky and manufactured, which there are but still!

Agreed. And if this is just going to be "another version" like this article suggests, what's the point? I mean JYP goes on this "Music is universal" spiel in that last English interview... why not just do some promotions for the girls over in China?

well actually i think they debuted much earlier than SNSD and are more tv personalities than singers, but there are a ton of boybands in china nowadays that are like straight up discount versions of Suju/DBSK etc

Erm... IDK, they really really remind me of a knockoff of Wondergirls. Chinese version.

Honestly, I'd appreciate them more if they were...say, more original than their seniors.

I looked those up too, I think they sing insanely well. &hearts But yeah, the name Sisters is crappy. Mostly I just think it's a REALLY bad idea to call them the Chinese Wondergirls, current Wonderfuls will get defensive and not want to give them a chance at all. But, really, they sing GOOD. A bit lifeless in the dancing but damnit, they sing GOOD!

I think Super Junior's fine, but SHINee~ Sure it won't impact their popularity but damnit it's bad!

That's true... I was just picturing future flame wars between Wonderfuls and whatever this group's fans will be called; they've done Nobody already, and sang it a lot better, so their fans and everybody will be using them to diss the WG's lack of vocal talent. I mean, their lives are really very bad, basically, and Sisters kicked ass live.

They should just replace Sohee with the girl that sang her part and advance into China the Super Junior way. -____-
