This is KARA taking over Japan

The members of KARA have been chosen as fixed MCs for a Japanese music program.

According to Fuji TV, KARA will be appearing on their talk show music program, “Sakigake! Ongaku Banzuke“, starting November 3rd.

Representatives of the program previously visited KARA in Korea last month in order to report on KARA’s “Jumping” album jacket photo shoot.

KARA will be the MCs for only the show’s opening and ending segments since they must promote in both Korea and Japan. A three month old rookie singer being given the MC position to a famous music program is definitely an exceptional case for both industries.

KARA will be releasing their second Japanese single, “Jumping,” on the 10th, along with a Korean mini-album on the 17th. “Girls Talk” will be released on the 24th. Their Japanese management agency is currently predicting 200,000 in album sales.

they're taking their Japan promotions seriously, I'm amazed.

I think they should stay in Japan because they're very well-received and their sales are higher than in Korea.

Seriously, ikr? I had a HS classmate who was seriously thin, her legs were as thin as Hara's/Jiyoung's, but in a video taken of her performing with shortshorts, her legs looked average and short with flat shoes...camera adds 50 pounds ;;

It's probably because of how well Mister did. But I don't think they're taking into account that it's the Hallyu wave that probably helped them sell that much. A lot of pride in something that's a trend in Japan that won't last forever.

I think they might be referring to Jumping + Girls Talk sales combined, which is much more reasonable. Plus they're referring to year-end, not first week, sales, so it's more realistic. Go with the flow I guess.
