For next’s week’s episode of ‘Superstar K2‘, the viewers will be directly selecting the songs for the top 3 contestants to perform.
According to the production team of ‘Superstar K2′, all that viewers need to do is to just log onto Mnet’s official site and nominate a song for each of the contestants. It will be open for three days, until October 12th.
A representative of ‘Superstar K2′ stated, “We prepared this mission so that the general public can participate. We will be waiting for all viewers’ active participation for this week’s mission.”
Meanwhile, TV ratings for ‘Superstar K2′ has been skyrocketing, as more and more viewers are tuning to see who will win the grand finale, to be held in a couple of weeks. The episode for the top 4 was broadcast on two TV channels, Mnet and KM, with each receiving a viewer rating of 14.5% and 14.7% respectively.

‘Mnet’s Superstar K2‘ contestant John Park recently made a surprise confession, revealing that he auditioned for ‘American Idol’ only as a preparation to audition for ‘Superstar K’.
John Park is one of the three remaining contestants left on this season of Superstar K, after 17-year-old Kang Seung Yoon was eliminated this week.
During an interview before his stage performance, John Park revealed that ‘Superstar K’ has made a great impact in his life, and said, “I auditioned for ‘American Idol’ to get ready for ‘Superstar K’. This is the most important moment in my life.”
Before his appearance on ‘Superstar K’, John Park was more famously known as a contestant on the popular TV show, ‘American Idol’, from which he received a great amount of attention, especially from fellow Koreans, for being the only Korean to get into the Top 20 of the show.

He only got eliminated because he made some poor song choices, but he's got a great voice. I have been following all of SSK2, as well, and I think he deserves to win. I like Heogak, too, but I think John has a better voice.
And I think he's gorgeous. I never saw any problem with his teeth or anything. I've always thought he was really handsome. But I do agree about the hair. The short hair is doing wonders for him.
This is my favorite performance of his so far.
