Jay Park wants to be brothers with 2PM again? (Manila Press Conference)

Jay Park, along with his dance crew, Art of Movement (AOM), are here for what can only be a smashing showcase on October 3, at the SMX Convention Center. In the press conference today at the Dusit Hotel, Jay told us all about his music, 2PM, girls, his tattoos, and future plans.

Jay was asked if he still kept contact with the other members of 2PM (the KPop group he was formerly the leader of):

"Unfortunately not. We haven't hit each other up in a long time, but I have nothing but love for the guys. I hope all the best for them. Hopefully one day we can just be friends again and just, you know, be brothers again -- like we are right now, like these guys (gesturing to the AOM members)."

Jay also named Charice (Pempengco, Filipino singer and new Glee cast member) as one of the artists he wants to collaborate with in the future.

Jay looked very exhausted during the press conference, which was pretty understandable, given his whirlwind of schedules and fan meetings the past month or so. Hopefully he'll be feeling a lot better and pumped up for his Manila showcase on Sunday!

he might be sincere (as some people have said) about wanting to talk to the 2PM guys, but he needs to understand his actions hurt the people he apparently "loves". he did little to nothing to stop the fans from attacking them and calling them "traitors".

there's no love lost for me. i don't like the way he's handled his scandal, i don't like the way he's let his "friends" get shoved under a bus repeatedly. there was no legal reason he should have stayed silent while they lost 200k people in their fanclub just because he left the damn band because of something that could have affected everyone in it and were harassed into silence -- if he "loved" them so much, he would've calmed the fans down.

the only good thing he did was saying he couldn't come back, even if i think it was self-serving. my opinions aside, it's just not realistic to expect a full reconciliation and he should understand that as an adult in a very stressful business.

lol I'm so over the Jay vs 2PM thing, especially the finger-pointing stans on both sides ugh. Neither party is evil and neither is innocent imo, everyone just needs to let it go at this point. But I do hope that they can be friends if that's what everyone wants.

Phones don't only receive calls, they can make them too. Maybe they are waiting on you to make the first move. Call even if they ignore the call, hang up on you, curse you out or something, you reached out; that will mean something. It will be the first leg into all night phone chats, then soon I will be getting fangirl squeal inducing pics of you all (this includes AOM) on late night soju runs. I love you but I also want to smack all of you so bad. It was a bad break up, but friendship is not impossible.
