Why They're Hot: A few of South Korea's appropriately named Wonder Girls have already reached our legal drinking age. So what? Before the group's SoHee and HyeLim celebrate their 21st b'days, the quintet -- whose 2009 debut U.S. single "Nobody" made them the first Korean group to crack the Billboard Hot 100 -- will have dropped their first English-language album (scheduled for release in Jan. 2011) and saturated our airwaves with their infectious pop harmonies. We'll drink to that.

They're actually 21...this is listed in Western ages, not Asian ages (in which Sunye and Yoobin and Ye Eun would be 22).

And yeah I got that email too. I love Sun Mi to death but I think her leaving slowed down the album's progress a lot due to re-recording and such. And I think in the process JYP decided to throw some songs out and add some in, so yeah.

It feels like every time there's a Wonder Girls post someone goes into the whole they're failing the need to get back to Korea shtick. Do people seriously not realize that it's damn near impossible to be an overnight success in America?

I remember seeing A-listers like Beyonce, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber on random stuff for at least year before even of them blew up and became household names.

At least give them a chance to try before writing them off as failures.

I like the girls but their music....there isn't enough of it, not to last an actual concert. When I went to their concert it was Nobody, Tell Me, 2DT, So Hot, cover songs, a Korean song that I don't know the name of and encores.

I think 2PM even has more promoted material then they do....

I used to live RIGHT by a Justice store (I lived 7 minutes walking distance from a mall) but now I have to drive to the closest clothing mall. Also, I'm 21, soooooo it would be a little embarassing going in there. I did to get my Nobody single, but IDK if I could stay long enough to try something on. I would get side-eyes and head shakes.
