Solbi on a mission to transform into a ‘beautiful artiste’

Singer Solbi has revealed that she has gone for plastic surgery because of her status as an entertainer.
She said on ‘SBS One Night’s TV’ on 13th May, “Because of my status as an entertainment, the pressure to become prettier will never stop. If you have one image for too long, it becomes too tiresome. Hence I went for changing my looks in search for a fresh new image.”

She said, “Beauty is inevitably one of the criteria people use to measure female entertainers. I will hide all the issue with plastic surgery till now, I will show everyone my true and frank approach instead. People who like me will not dislike me just because I went under the knife for my looks.”
And then, “My sister told me I did well and said that she like me as her sibling. My parents did not say a word. I am very satisfied now.”
Meanwhile, Solbi is undergoing diet for Mnet ‘Ice Princess’ currently and is promoting her song ‘Will Be Punished’.

I guess that by know most people know that I have a love/hate relationship with solbi XD I think she is a really nice and funny girl but that she cant handle the entertainment world.

In the 1st episode they did weight her after 3 teens who were like 43, 48 and a boy was 50 kg. Solbi's weight was like 54.6kg I felt so bad for her because they made her look like if she was overweight or something.

I have not seen a single picture post-plastic surgery in which she looked good. :| She may not have been the ideal/traditional beauty but she was pretty cute. I wonder if she honestly thinks she looks better now or if she's just saying she's satisfied so she wouldn't be admitting to her mistake.

This girl is a horrible role model. Cosmetic surgery is so common in Asia that it doesn't come as a surprise anymore, but when those in the public eye feel that it's absolutely natural it propagates the notion even further. It's her choice to get surgery, and I couldn't care less, but she needs to stop crying for attention.

If you want a fresh, new image just change your hair color/wardrobe or whatever. Changing your eye shape and nose is not really a good idea every couple of months.

Honestly, Solbi has VERY low self esteem and she needs to check herself.

But then again, when your own fucking family tells you that you did well and they like you after your plastic surgery, self esteem issues are inevitable.

Srsly, Solbi. If you want to "look fresh", try a new hair style, or rearrange your wardrobe and NOT your face.
