SHINee vs. 2PM

SHINee and 2PM both debuted last year as the boy band representatives and have been competing with each other ever since. Although SHINee did gain the most popularity last year, 2PM's success this year will definitely start a new rivalry with SHINee.

SHINee will be releasing their second mini-album "Romeo" on the 21st of this month as their official comeback to the music industry. It's already been 9 months since the release of their latest album, <The SHINee World>, which was released back in August.

Along with SHINee, 2PM and their counterparts 2AM, U-Kiss and other groups were some of the talented idol groups that were active last year. Winning every single best newcomer award, their hit songs like "Noona, You're So Pretty", "Love like Oxygen", and "AMIGO" made SHINee the undisputed best newcomer of last year.

Recently, 2PM released their new single, "2:00PM Time for Change". When SHINee finally returns, a new friendly battle between the two groups will be inevitable.

As well, 2PM's hit song, "Again & Again" has been steadily gaining popularity on the music charts. On the 10th, 2PM won the mutizen award on SBS Inkigayo, securing the number one spot. Having to face a new challenge from 2PM, SHINee may have to step it up and show an even more active stage.

honestly, i don't think that you can compare the two groups at all. they each have their own distinct style.

As a non-2PM fan, I'm of course pushing for SHINee to top the charts...although honestly, both of them are probably going to be pushed off by 2NE1 or T-ara if the current chart standings (1,2 (http://music.mnet.com/MChart/MChart_Top300.asp?LstType=D)) are any indication lol. tbh, SHINee doesn't do it for me. :/ (i'm not into the whole jailbaity/cute thing...) not to mention their perceptual fanboying gets alittle... UGH.

I hope 2pm does well, but they shouldn't be made out to be rivals which the netizens are bound to do lol.

I LOVE BOTH. well i actually like SHINee first. and 2PM is growing in me ATM. :D
also, we can't compare these two groups as they have different style of music and fashion. their dance are great and they are all talented.

they have so much different personalities. and i hope they will do more collaborations in TV shows or maybe some music projects. :) :)
