Kim Sun Ah Gets Pelted with Eggs

While filming for SBS City Hall recently, actress Kim Sun Ah had to endure being pelted repeatedly by eggs, resulting in her face, head, neck areas getting swollen. Kim Sun Ah had won some pageant competition but did not get the prize money that was promised. She goes on a 1-woman demonstration, protesting against it. But her actions sees her getting pelted with more than 200 eggs instead, resulting in her dress and tiara drenched with eggs and egg shells.
Onlookers who were present when the filming took place over the weekend expressed, "This is a really shocking scene", "it felt really real. I was kept on the edge just watching her getting pelted repeatedly", "I never knew acting would be so difficult. It pains my heart seeing this", with most expressing sympathy for Kim Sun Ah's plight.
Kim Sun Ah expressed in an interview about this scene, "I have never been hit with so many eggs in my entire life. I don't usually cry, but on this day where I got pelted repeatedly with eggs, I just started tearing. My face, neck, from top to bottom of my body were all drenched and swollen. It's really scary just thinking about it now.”
