Rawr! The two main men of the romantic-comedy film Cyrano; Dating Agency — that would be Daniel Choi and Uhm Tae-woong — pose together for this black-and-white spread in Vogue.

It’s not too far off from the recent Elle shoot starring the movie’s cast, which took a ’40s noir vibe as its concept, but this one focuses on the men. And that’s something I’m very okay with. Eyeshadow notwithstanding.

This shoot sets up Uhm as the rebel and Choi as the gentleman. I have no idea how that translates to the “James Dean vs. Jude Law” concept put forth by the magazine, but whatever. (Actually, it’s explained that those two represent the archetypal Hollywood rebel and gentleman, respectively, to which I half-agree and half-snort-while-rolling-my-eyes.)

It sounds like the cast got pretty friendly while shooting the movie. Uhm said of his Cyrano co-star, “I like Daniel Choi’s face. Sometimes it can look ugly, but it’s cute and handsome.” Choi said, “Uhm Tae-woong has a mischievous outer appearance sort of like Matthew McConaughey, but on the inside he’s a very thoughtful person.”

Cyrano; Dating Agency opens on September 16. It tells the story of a timid man (Choi) who can’t confess his love for his crush (Lee Min-jung) and enlists the aid of a dating agency run by Uhm. Complications ensue.
