Maybe that's why it's dyed a natural color again. It's easier for guys to do the crazy-hair thing because it grows out faster, but with long hair the ends will get so damaged.

I wouldn't say it's growing out faster for guys, rather they have a shorter length goal than most girls. If you're just looking to grow out a shave down to ear length then 4-6 months should do it. Most girls want a little bit more than that.

...hair doesn't work like that. It's not skin, it's dead. You can try to treat the ends, but once it's fried and colour damaged it's pretty unfixable.

Going to a darker colour is still colouring O.o it's not like it undoes the bleach damaged.
