Today is Gwangbokjul! (*Independence Day)

On August 15th, 1945, with the surrender of Japan the second World War came to an end. Korea gained its independence, and the government of the Republic of Korea was established on August 15th, 1948. In order to commemorate the day the country was freed from Japan rule and the day that a government as an independent country was established, the government of the Republic of Korea legislated on October 1st, 1949 the 'Laws on National Holidays,' and designated August 15th of every year the national holiday 'Gwangbokjul' (*Independence Day). 'Gwangbok' (*Chinese characters: 光復) means 'to reclaim light,' and signifies the recovery of national sovereignty.

Yup... there's a controversy over how Taecyeon's fans used orange for the customized lightsticks at their concert. Shinhwa Changjo is particularly sensitive about other fandoms using orange...

I don't think it's within Shinhwa Chango (if that's what you meant)... he "questioned" his fans why they care about other fans' colours, so I think it's about Taecyeon's fans using orange 'cos that's the most recent one I can think of. At 2PM's concert, fans had different coloured customized light sticks for different members when the norm is to use the fandom's own single colour, which is probably why Dongwan mentioned about unifying their own colour.

But really, 2PM's colour is black or grey (can't remember)? What light stick in this world would be of that colour, seesh.

nah, i meant the obvious cracks in the ex/hottest fandom. i took it as meaning more than just separate colours for different members. when he talked about unity, as a hottest, i cudn help but feel for my broken up fandom.

that aside, yea 2pm's balloon colour is metallic grey, with '2pm' on it. and hahaha i cant imagine a lightstick of that colour either. its so.. sombre. haha

This time, I think it's because Taecyeon's fans used orange for their customized lightsticks. Shinhwa Changjo's quite sensitive about their fandom colour so they ain't happy about it.

I love dongwan's blogs, though sometimes I don't understand what he's getting at. He seems like such a wise and intelligent man. I cannot wait for Shinhwa to reunite.

IF it is 2PM related, I saw it more as a diss at 2PM's fans not at 2PM themselves.
Dongwan would never insult another group like that!
I think he's pointing out the childishness and bickering among the Hottest themselves, which frankly is quite embarrassing.
After everything 2PM has been through, at least their fanclub should be united in supporting them as a whole.

But until he clears things up, we won't really know what he's talking about...

Yeah same here. I really don't think dongwan would insult another group like that. Though tbh, as much as I love Dongwan, I didn't think it was necessary to take a dig at 2pm fans either and this is coming from a person who really doesn't like 2pm and got annoyed with fans during the whole Jay fiasco.

I didn't realize that fanclub colors was such a big deal btw.
