It has not been too long since we've been informed that the Japanese model named: Erika Umeda shared her special fandom moment with 4Minute through her blog as she had posted a picture of her with the members of 4Minute.

Recently, Erika updated her personal blog again and she inserted another version of her pic with the girls of 4Minute. It was just another version of her pic and it was taken the same day with her previous photo with them as you can see from their clothes and the setting.

It seems like this girl has not recovered yet from her special moment with 4Minute.

4minute is heating up in Japan.

4minute came back to with 'I My Me Mine'. The funny thing is that while Kara and Girls' Generation are also receiving storm-like popularity from male fans, 4minute is also receiving full support from female fans too, which officially classifies them as a special group. While Japanese girl groups like Speed, AKB48, Morning Musume, etc. are attacking male fans with their cute and lovable music, 4minute is displaying magnificent femininity and confidence through their music, along with their powerful performances. It is definite that 4minute is the leader of Japanese popularity.

At this, 4minute's company CUBE Entertainment explained, "Because Japanese males are authoritative, females are overpowered. However, with 4minute, you can feel their vicarious pleasure and their firm confidence."

4minute is expected to set a spur with their Japanese activities for 'I My Me Mine.'

This is why I like 4Minute out of all the kpop girl groups...and why I like all the dark concepts that came out last/this year

I think they will all find their own grounds in terms of fanbase in Japan. Out of the three, Kara really is the one that's targeting for males. But I was always under the impression SNSD had garnered the most female attraction.

I like the way 4minute is being promoted, it seems to work for them this way. :)

OT, am I the only one a bit irked by the title because of the grammar? Lol. "The Queen Has Come" is that related to 4minute fans or something?

I think SNSD and 4Minute both appeal to female fans more than Kara. I know SNSD has a crapload of celebrity female fans and watching one of 4Minute's performance vids in Japan I'd say more than half the audience was female. The fangirling was adorable LOL

I'm rooting for both of them :)
Oh and someone already answered but it's from their intro "for muzik"

LOL @ that bottom "article." SPEED is not even in the same category as AKB48 or Morning Musume, and there are indeed Japanese girl groups who are not cutesy all the time.

IA. japan DOES have not cutesy girl groups...just not enough of them.

SPEED, Dream, Ya-Kyim (pre-style change) and the now defunct Foxxi are fabulous examples of strong girl groups that appeal to girls as well

Foxxi is dead? I didn't know that.

There's also MAX, BRIGHT, maybe you can count Juliet and SOULHEAD. Non-cutesy groups exist, but they're either not popular or older girl groups from like the 90s or something. I don't think 4minute is going to be the one to suddenly make sexy/cool girl groups popular. lol

they haven't said it officially, but with Yu-A doing solo activities and the other two virtually ghost, i'm not even bothering myself hoping for a comeback. T__T i'm considering them gone.

MAX can fall along the same lines as SPEED and co. but i feel like BRIGHT is a bit more like CSJH...i'm not too fond of either of their styles tbh....and i don't listen to juliet but, OMFG---how could i forget SOULHEAD??!!!!

i don't think 4minute could suddenly make them popular but it would be ridiculously wonderful if they DID break through. it's not like japan doesn't like sexy/cool---namie amuro's popularity proves as much...it's just in groups they can't seem to be handled...

if hasnt been made official but Yu-A has been solo for a while now and with the other members not doing much, i don't have hope for a comeback...

It's always cute to see celebrities starstruck by other celebs!
(Hehe, maybe more articles like this could come out as I'm pretty sure some of the current H!P girls like Aichan and Linlin would love to meet 4minute and the other k-pop groups coming out in Japan as well...)

But, Erika Umeda(ex-member of C-ute, a sister group under the same label as Morning Musume) also likes SNSD, making the second article's comparison of the groups kind of... ironic.

Her blog entry here (http://ameblo.jp/umeda-erika/entry-10507648773.html)

Then again, Japan was always into the skanks. Koda Kumi much? /moves to the left

Not to be condescending about this but KARA (in four days) sold est. 20672. That is almost double what 4minute with both singles has sold total.

I wish 4minute success, I like what they stand for and seem nice.

powerful performances. It is definite that 4minute is the leader of Japanese popularity.

Alolol, leading at #26 on Oricon.

Erika. ♥ Her taste could be better, but she prefers SNSD, so I'll let her away with this.
