Park Jung Min officially goes solo, but is still part of SS501

SS501’s ex-member Park Jung Min has officially joined a new company and is going solo. On SS501’s official website, Park Jung Min wrote an entry to his fans to explain and inform them of his situation.

 

He wrote,

It’s Jung Min.
I’m going to become Park Jung Min apart from SS501 . The company I’m with is called CNR MEDIA, and it’s a company that’s been created by Taiwan’s Comic-ritz and Korea’s ROY MEDIA. I’m nervous and worried, but please give me strength as I debut as Jung Min. I will work harder and keep improving.

Local (Korea) company ‘ROY MEDIA’.

Though there are many worries and nervousness.
Please give lots of strength to JungMin who is taking his first step now..!

So with Kim Hyun Joong and Park Jung Min gone from the group, what will happen to the three remaining members?

DSP Media, SS501’s old company, said, “SS501 members are joining new companies, but we don’t want SS501 to break up. If they work together again in the future, we decided it’d be under DSP Media.”

There’s still hope for SS501 fans, but since the other three members are looking for new companies as well, it looks like it’ll be hard to see the boys perform together anytime soon.

honestly, them being all on good terms and at least, er. slightly willing to return as SS501 some day (?), is a hell of a lot better than other ways bands can break up.

I honestly don't think this is the end of the group, or maybe I'm just deluding myself into believing that. They have said previously that they would be doing solo activities for a while, don't really know how long that is, hence why jungmin said that he will be a jungmin apart from ss501. I don't think that necessarily means they are breaking up or he is leaving ss501. I just think they want to do their own things for a while where they can shine on their own and obviously being with dsp didn't allow him or them to do that. Eithe way I wish jungmin and the other members the best.
