Lee Yeonhee invited to join Jang Dong Geon in "My Way" movie

Director Kang Je Gyu and actor Jang Dong Gun will work together once again in the new movie, My Way, after their last collaboration in 'Brotherhood' six years ago. My Way is about two men drafted into the Japanese army during Normany invasion in World War II. Jang Dong Gun will take the lead role in the anticipated new Korean blockbuster movie.

Lee Yeon Hee is to play Jang Dong Gun's sister in the movie.

My Way, an action blockbuster, will be filming in Korea, China, Russia, France, and other locations that are still in progress of planning. This movie is a 30 billion won production.

My Way is Lee Yeon Hee first work since her last drama "East of Eden" in 2009 and movie "Hello Schoolgirl" in 2008.

The filming of this movie is scheduled to start shooting at the beginning of October.

On the other hand, Lee Yeon Hee's agency, SM Entertainment official said, "it is true that they've received the offer, but details are yet to finalized."

SM sure is powerful. She gets a lot of big roles with some of the most well known Korean actors. Very pretty on camera, but she's a bad actress. Not the worst from SM though.

i think she just get typecasted in the same roles all the time. i don't think she's a bad actress at all.

I saw her in East of Eden and Millionaire First Love, I don't think she's a good actress. Camera men loves her, but she's not a good actress. I think Yoona is a better actress than her, and while she's not a great singer, she's a better one than Yoona, she should have been in SNSD instead of Yoona.

While I do agree that there are better actresses out there than Lee Yeonhee, I don't think her acting in Millionaire's First Love is too shabby. Still have not seen the drama East of Eden (GDI, why is it so long?!) so I can't say anything about her acting there. I did see her in Hello Schoolgirl, and while the movie itself is nothing to be excited about, I thought she at least made the movie a bit bearable to watch. Maybe if SME managed their actors and actresses better, she would've improved by now.

East of Eden is sooooo long, omgoodness. D: I still haven't finished it. I too wish SM would promote their actors better. Especially Ara Go - girl can speak Korean and Japanese, so she should have much more opportunities.
