Big Bang’s girls are on fire.
2Ne1’s debut music video, “Fire” has already gotten 1 million hits since its debut on May 6th. Just over half a million peeps clicked on the “space” version of the song. The girls are gearing up to perform their debut stage on SBS “Inkigayo” on May 17th.
We predict that the catchy tune will easily reach #1 …. but you could have predicted that too.

i didn't even think that foreign artists are placed on the same charts as the home grown ones. i think ppl like justin timberlake blows the sales out of the water but it never gets compared to the other korean artists. someone correct me if i'm wrong.

Date: 2009-05-07 12:05 pm (UTC)I used to be heavily into Kpop a few years ago and am now starting getting back into it, and now it's just so... I don't have a word for it. It's just getting ridiculous.
I use to love anything YG put out, and now I'm wondering if they just let their artists and stylists go dumpster diving behind fashion boutiques and get their pick out of all the reject clothes and accessories.
All of this wouldn't be so bad if the clothes didn't outshine the music, but since it does, it kind of makes me ashamed to be just listening to it sometimes.

And the sad thing is clothes do play a huge role now. Instead of being ashamed though, do what I do, watch it for the lulz. The music, if its good enough, will sort itself out.
What I really want, really, is the return of 1TYM. Really. That would make up for any badly outfitted groups and people that Kpop throws at me. C'mon men, you know you want to~~~
