I would probably hate them less if they went with a different image. But they are trying too hard to be ~fierce and edgy~ and imo they don't pull it off AT ALL. When I see them I just want to punch them in the face, not get down to their music.

ahh i've been wondering about that for ages!
How do they get along? i mean, cl seems to be the bong-type of leader, but bom is so much older... doesn't the seniority thing matter a lot in korea? look at bong, he's the ultimate leader but he still refers to top as top-shi! and it's obvious he pays top a lot of respect even though bong's been in the industry since it started essentially...
and minji... at first i thought she'd be the awkward maknae just like seungri was at first, but then i realized the age difference and it's like WHOA. she's three years younger than me, and flipping Nine years younger than bom!
do they live together like bb does? i really want to know just how they interact together.... it's like what you said; all of them are much more talented than any of the other girl group stars out there, but if they don't have good dynamics that will hurt them a lot... D: i hope yg didn't just put some talents together regardless of personalities....

I didn't love it, but I liked it. I'm disappointed with Sandara though, because after all that training, I was expecting more. I thought Minji, CL and Bom were fierce and she looked so out of place. Jeez. I can imagine YG telling her off to train harder and stuff. I hope she does improve in the longrun.

I also hope it'll be like Big Bang and their music and style becomes more them.

YES.

People forget that Big Bang started out with a rather forced and different style. They've grown into what they wear now so that it really suits them personally. I think the 2NE1 girls are just going through the same thing, albeit on a more extreme fashion side.

On the other hand, I can understand the frustration, because it could not be more obvious that they are being styled to follow in Big Bang's footsteps (or at least GD's).

I am fifty fifty with them. The song is kind of catchy but their clothing disturbs me. They look like people in the 80's would see what people in the future would wear. They'd fit right in with an 80's sci-fi movie. I feel like they are trying to hard to be mini GD's and badass. It doesn't seem natural. Idk what to think really.
