Huh Jung-Moo steps down as South Korea coach

After an impressive run at the World Cup, Huh has opted to take some time off from coaching.

South Korea coach Huh Jung-Moo stepped down on Friday following a two-and-a-half year stint as boss of the Red Devils.

"I decided not to seek a second term," he told reporters.

"It is not a resignation - my contract finishes at the end of June. I want time to recharge myself and spend some time with my family."

The former PSV Eindhoven midfielder then insisted that there were other options for his role: "There are many good coaches in our football community. They should be given a chance."

During his tenure, Huh led South Korea to a 27-game unbeaten streak and earned the 2009 AFC Coach of the Year award. His team finished second in Group B before bowing out of the World Cup with a 2-1 loss to Uruguay in the last 16.

Same here. I hope that Ghana will kick Uruguay ass so hard they can't even imagine... And, yeah, it's because of Korea xD

I support Ghana because it's the last African team and if they reach the semi final, then it will be part of the History.
If you were supporting Korea, then you would support Uruguay until the final. Why? Coz at least, SK could say "we were beating but the world champions". If Ghana wins, then it will be humuliating for SK, "Ghana beated them, when SK couldn't".
