I'm pretty sure that there are more Omona-ians who were present for the showcase and with better/clearer photos and fancams of that day but I figured I should just share my experience seeing that I have uploaded almost all of my fancams on Youtube due to requests from friends. xD The videos aren't exactly good since I was far from the stage and because I'm missing my trusty Photoshop, I used an online software to resize the photos, which made it really weird and pixelated (the original size is 4000x3000) but oh well~

To be really honest, I did not purchase the tickets to the showcase but managed to get it from a locally-held contest. I had initially even expected to not be able to make it despite getting free tickets but thankfully at the last minute, I chanced upon a fellow uni mate whose friend was also going. So, I was fortunate enough to tag along. The rest

The passes! Thanks to a local TV station 8tv's programme, 8tvnitelive.

As we were not REALLY huge fans of B2st, we decided to reach the location of the showcase with just ample time to allow for the traffic in KL, the difficulty in parking and not being too far away from the stage. You might not be able to make out from the ticket, but the time stipulated on the passes actually showed that the event will start at 7pm. Therefore, we reached KL Live(the venue) at about 5.30pm. Good decision? Nope. I'll tell you why...

Management was horrible. As were informed first-hand that those who purchased the tickets(with B2st's CD, t-shirt) and wear the given t-shirt on that day will be receiving priority entrance, I was surprised to see no clear lines differentiating from those with priorty entrance and those without. At that time, the line was already more than 20 feet long. Although most people were playing by the rules and lining up, it was so easy to just jump queue and cut through the lines. Despite the "7pm" stipulated time, my friends and I were pretty confident that the event will only begin around 8pm. ~~Because there is the international time and then the Malaysian time, we never seem to be on time. =P~~ Well, we were WRONG AGAIN.

That is the KL Tower and from the above photos you can clearly see that we were lining up from when the sun was still up until after the sun actually set and the tower was lighted up. As the line was getting longer and longer (and the crowd getting more restless), the queue formed a U-shape and finally, when the line only started to move at about say, 8.15pm fans who were at the end of the so-called U-line jumped queue and ran towards the entrance, effectively cutting others who were there way before they were.

Suffice to say, there was NO priority entrance whatsoever and worse, some fans who were there since early on, got in even later than those who came later. At around 8.30pm, almost 80%(?) of the fans were not even in yet. Fans were getting frustrated, tired and pushy as most of them have been queueing for at least 2 hours. Incidentally, while cramming, I spotted someone's pass which indicated that she was born in 1995. I pointed it out to my two friends since we were 88-89'ers. Boy, did we feel old then! LOL. Also, we were surrounded by concern mothers who finally gave up on lining up as well as they were also getting out of breath from the cramming and pushing.

My friends and I, who were at the corner of the so-called U-line then realized that because we didn't really squeeze/push to get in front, we were now instead going to be one of the last few people to enter the place. Hence, we decided to give up and headed towards the KFC restaurant opposite KL Live to have a quick dinner instead. Turns out that was our best decision that night. By the time we were done, we were just in time to get in without waiting. In fact, barely anyone checked for our passes.

Inside, it felt more like a club that anything else. LOL. We knew that KL Live wasn't very big and that it was possible to get a decent view even if we were right at the back, so it's alright. They were blasting 4 Minute's songs when we entered and everyone was still energetic enough to be singing along to Hot Issue and Muzik. It was nice to know that everyone was still alive. xP

A few minor teasers and minutes later, the MC for the event appeared to request the fans to not push and that then, the event will start on time. Obviously, that enraged certain fans because it was around 9pm by that time, 2 hours behind the original schedule. We were also alerted to help anyone who felt faint as about 35 people had fainted that day. No surprises there but I was quite shocked (pun not intended xD) by the amount, 35 really?

My actual view from where I was standing in KL Live. I was behind EVERYONE so it's not too bad, really.

Finally, it was time for B2st to make their appearance! Their opening performance was B2st is the best.

(You can only listen to the screaming here since everyone was REALLY excited to see them after waiting for almost a day there.)

DongWoon fanning himself at 0:10. If there is one thing about Malaysia, it's the heat. And well, all of them were clearing sweating it out on stage. Even during the break/interview sessions, DongWoon and HyunSeung in particular were either fanning themselves or wiping their sweat of with tissue. LOL.

The MC then returned for a short interview with the boys. Again he reminded us not to push and even asked the boys to say "don't push". ROFL. It was pretty embarrasing.

Next up was Mystery! DongWoon caused some havoc when he removed his tie at 1:23.

And then followed by the sincere version of Easy, which sounded really good live.

Then, it was time for a costume change and so the MC came back on to fill in. He picked 3 lucky fans to dance to Shock! (which turned out to be fail because I'm sure there were MANY more fans there who could have done a better job) but they did manage to do okay despite the huge crowd and albeit some slight boo-ing. ~~One of the fan didn't even know how to sing to the chorus of Shock.~~ In the end, the girl with the loudest applause/cheers got to get a group photo taken with B2st! :D I was amongst YooSeob's fans who were yelling "jangan" or "jangan peluk dia" ("don't" and "don't hug her") so it was amusing, to say the least. xD

They came back looking good in their striking red suits.

B2st resumed the second part of the showcase by performing Special.

After that, another lucky fan won a 'lucky draw' to be serenaded by B2st during their Oasis performance. The draw was done from a box where the passes were dropped into. Needless to say, since I still had mine, I was spared from the anticipation? LOL.

As you can see from the video below, YeoSeob and DongWoon were playing with their camera from 0:30 onwards. (Sorry for the shakiness around here...) At 0:58, Junhyung presented the rose to the fan. Again at around 1:10, the fans around me were yelling "YeoSeob jangan, jangan!" (YeoSeob don't) as he walked towards the lucky fan. LOL. And I think it was Doo Joon who knelt down to give her another rose at 1.18. ^^

Later on, the members also took a group photo with their back against the audience. Here was how it looked like from my POV (just for fun...LOL).

After that, it was time for SHOCK! One of the most addictive songs ever.

And finally they close of the night with a remix of once again, Bad Girl and Mystery (in which I just decided to take it all in and enjoy so here is

epikly's fancam).

My friends and I left shortly after their performances to avoid the crowd and also because we had no CDs for them to sign. =P Oppssss, their performances took up barely an hour but the queue took 2-5 times more depending on how early the fans got there.

This was how dark it was when we left KL Live but overall it was an enjoyable event and probably would have be a worthwhile, GREAT showcase if not for the bad management. They all looked good from the distance and my friends are now GiKwang fans though I have to say HyunSeung and DongWoon were probably the best in fan-service that night, or at least from where I was standing since they were bias towards that side.

P.S: Just so you know, the organizers actually apologized to all those who were affected by the bad management. =) And they might try bringing B2st along with 4 Minute the next time.

I guess organisers really need to get ORGANISED.
The Singapore queue for the showcase was alright but the one for the fansign was just as bad if not worse D:

Thanks for sharing your account seeing as I couldn't be there after 1 week of fangirling. I had no energy & money left to follow Beast to KL as well. D:
and I hope the fans who fainted are alright <3

I had another friend who went to the fansign the next day and that one turned out pretty good so I guess it's the opposite of the events in Singapore? LOL.

Hope you did well! ^^ Universal said they will try to bring them and 4 Minute over and B2st also said that they will try to return after their 3rd album, so there will be a next time. =)
