Former Brown Eyed Girl, Yoari releases MV for Excuse Me

Yoari is a name that most of you probably aren’t familiar with. She was originally the 5th member of Brown Eyed Girls but NegaNetwork (BEG’s label) had other plans for her before the group debuted. Thinking she had more of a rocker image, Neganetwork put her in a rock band titled Sprinkler. Unfortunately for her, Sprinkler never really took off while the Brown Eyed Girls flourished.

She also has a history of financial problems. Her family never had much money and she quit school in middle school to get a job a salon to make money. Over the years she held the job of Vocal Guide for the Brown Eyed Girls but now she’s back with a new digital single titled 저기요 / Excuse Me. The lyrics of Excuse Me talks about her story and hardships and is attracting much attention.

She’s been through a lot, I wish her much success. Check out the MV for Excuse Me below.

The song is amazing. Looking at how BEG debuted, I guess the desired rocker image (however it was intended) wouldn't have probably fit in with the group (although they did put in supposedly hiphop-influenced bas ass Miryo in BEG). I am digging the names their company is coming up for the girls (Narsha, Miryo, Yoari, etc, I want them to make one up for me!).

At first I thought they were on a shamefully low budget for the video but then I saw that there are other versions which gave a different light to the story which then I guess makes the whole nothing-is-actually-happening in the Take5 version of the video justified. I like her bravery for doing that to her hair and allowing someone to butcher her hair up but that hairstyle is seriously, whoa, ugly.
