SYNOPSIS:
Chun Ji Ae and Yang Bong Soon are high school classmates who did not have the best relationship with each other. Ji Ae was the most popular girl in school whereas Bong Soon was the girl that was always made fun of. Years later, their roles are reversed as Bong Soon's husband, Kang Joon Hyuk, is very successful whereas Ji Ae's husband, Ohn Dal Soo, is just an average company worker. Things get complicated when Dal Soo starts an extra-marital affair with his boss's wife, Eun So Hyuk. How will Ji Ae react to this?

Cheon Ji-ae used to be the most popular girl in school. Her beauty was her power.

Looking for a prince who would let her put on glass shoes, she found Ohn Dal-Soo who was a medical student of Seoul National University, and got married to him. Everyone envied her and she thought all she had to do was to wear her crown.

However life is not that simple. Dal-Soo had a good IQ score but he was coward and indecisive. He faints in every anatomy class. Finally he drops out of medical school.

She thought he'd be still fine since SNU medical shool has a good reputation. However, Dal-Soo had difficulty in adjusting to work. He left or was kicked off his company.

She can’t live like this forever! In an old story, the princess Pyung-Gang trained the stupid Ohn-Dal and make him a general! She decides to do whatever it takes to make her husband a success...

Ohn Dal-Soo / Ji-Ae's husband, Salaried worker (Oh Ji-ho)


The youngest child in his family. Lacking in determination and willpower. Indecisive.
But he has an excellent memory and gained admittance to the medical school of Seoul National University, the top university in the nation. However that was the start of his tragedy.

He is not social and has no nerve. He has a weak stomach and no patience. While going to medical school, he is ostracized after several faints in anatomy class. Finally he drop out of school.

When he was a freshman, he met Ji-Ae in a blind date and got married to her as she wanted to marry him as soon as possible.

Yang Bong-Soon / Wife of Senior Manager (Lee Hye-young)


Ji-Ae was Bong-Soon's dream. Ji-Ae was pretty and popular, something that Bong-Soon was not.
She shadows Ji-ae and was like her servant when they went to school together. She was ignored by Ji-Ae but thought that thanks to her she could someday get the attention of men.

When Joon-hyuk, whom she had a crush on, had eyes for Ji-Ae, she asked Ji-Ae if she could like him but only disgraced herself. 
Bong-Soon finally opened her eyes and ended their friendship. 

She carefully devised a plan to split Ji-Ae and Joon-hyuk up and nobody knew that.

One day, Ji-ae knocks the door of her apartment. She learns that Ji-Ae’s husband works under her husband. So she starts to get on Ji-ae’s nerves on purpose, knowing that she has the upper hand.

Han Joon-Hyuk / Bong-Soon's husband, Senior Manager (Choi CHul-Ho)


He is very ambitious and aims to reach the top executive passion in the company. He rams through projects through sheer determination.
He was given big promotions for someone of his age. He is a demanding boss who makes employees cower in fear.
Most of the time, he looks heartless and cold.
At first, he looks down at Ji-Ae, his first sweetheart, when they meet again but in reality, he finds it hard to control his emotions that he feels for her after seeing her tears.

Eun So-Hyun / Wife of CEO (Sun Woo-sun)


She is the youngest daughter of the founder of Queens Group and her husband is the company president of Queens Food.
She married her husband under an arranged marriage set up by her parents to solidify the merger of her in-law’s company with her family’s company.

At home, her husband shows no interest in sex but he carries on multiple affairs. So So-hyun has a sixth sense for sniffing out cheating husbands.

After having enough of her husband’s infidelity, she shocks her husband with an explicit ultimatum. She tells him that she’ll have an affair with one of the employees that work for him.

Huh Tae-Joon / So-Hyun's husband, CEO (Yoon Sang-Hyun)


He was very much in love with another woman before he was forced by his parents to marry So-hyun in an arranged marriage.

He knew So-hyun since they were kids and never found her adorable or attractive. They have no sex over 5 years of their marriage.  he carries on numerous affairs while married to So-hyun but then... So-Hyun issues him an ultimatum, she’ll have an affair with someone whom he knows.
Someone he knows?

At first, he thought it was just an interesting declaration.
However, he is getting curious.

Oh Young-Sook / Wife of a director (Na Young-Hee)


As the wife of the company director, she has a charismatic personality.
She’s also the chairwoman of the Pyeonggang Women’s Social Club within the company and the most powerful woman among them.
If she dislikes any of the members, then that woman will be ostracized by all of the other members and the husband of that woman will never get promoted as well.
But her rival and archenemy is So-hyun, the wife of the company president.
She finds her to be intolerable because she is younger and shows no respect. She also can’t tolerate the way that So-hyun criticizes her in front of the wives of regular company employees. So she is waiting for an opportunity to get even with her.

Kim Hong-Shik / Young-Sook's husband, Director (Kim Chang-Wan)


He is the company president’s right-hand man and handles all of the company affairs, including the slush fund set aside for bribing politicians. But he also keeps records every impropriety committed by the president.

He plans to blow the whistle one day to force Tae-joon to resign in disgrace.

MY THOUGHTS:


This drama deals with with marriage problems such as: money, love, power, sex and extra marital affairs. I started watching this drama waiting for it to be a boring ajumma show but I was wrong it is actually a really funny drama. I think they did a good job presenting the characters and their backgrounds and thats why It may be dificult  to dislike any of the characters.
